Stop the nintendo bashing please. IF you don't like Nintendo then get out. You don't have to post in this thread if you don't like it.
It's more 3DS bashing than Nintendo bashing.
The third sentence still rings true, regardless of the subject. And also, just replace the word 'Nintendo' with '3DS' (or just add '3DS' after 'Nintendo') and you will have the statements that are correct, if you are going to be that pedantic about it. Hopefully I shall have some new games at the start of next month, possibly including Kid Icarus and Metal Gear Solid.

I was originally going update from DSLite to DSi, then I saw that the 3DS was coming out and decided that I would get that as it would increase the amount of games I could get (this was after looking at the predicted releases, of course). The only thing that interested me about the 3D effect was how it worked (parallax barrier).

Actually, I doubt there are many people who bought it purely on the merit of the 3D gimmick. I sure as  didn't I looked at the list of games that were set to be released and just went 'I want that, I want that, and that one, that one too *pre-orders console*' and I haven't regretted it. Sure, I don't really use the gimmick (I usually can't see the 3D for one reason or another, I really only use it during cutscenes). Anybody who bought it for the 3D really didn't think things through, I looked at it through how much play time I would get, and I have currently got 71 hours....out of Street Fighter alone, with everything else, I have spent a grand total of 296:26 hours on my 3DS (assuming my maths is correct (excluding the time I spent looking at the activity log while I did the maths)). So yeah, in short, it is highly probable that he bought it for the games with the gimmick as something else (it may have been a contributing factor, but it is probably not the only reason (I assume this from all the games he has). And if I am wrong about it, then RPJK will probably correct me.

I've had a rather improbable contender just now with Terraria. I was fighting the Wall of Flesh, ripping it to shreds with arrows and magic. I died as it died, thus meaning that I got nothing from it (well, the stuff is there, I just can't get it), and activated hard mode, thus making it impossible for me to reach my previous death point (I don't have a heckevator (a massive hole that leads straight to the area of Terraria), essentially meaning that I have lost whatever items I would've got from it (including a Ruthless Pwnhammer which would mean that I would be in quite a mess at the moment if Doublestrand hadn't helped me make one yesterday).

In all fairness, you did it twice, and their rules are rather strict about swearing anywhere other than Junkyard. If it's Junkyard, not a single **** is given, outside of Junkyard, you will be crushed with a fist of [enter material here], or in the case of Naryar, material is irrelevant, and the fist is 'MIGHTY'.
Overly, might I add. I could understand if it was concentrated only towards the actual RA2 sections, but in the Movies and Music bit? That had nothing to do with anything.
Hmm...true enough, considering what I think the system is at the moment (X% warn where X is dependent on the word said), it probably shouldn't be more than something like...25%-35% tops, I would think. Unless of course they are just trying to be as brutal as possible to stop people from doing it (maybe they got bored of how much it happened before, but that is just uneducated speculation on my part)...alternatively, it could be based on who issued the warn, but that is yet more speculation. Then again, I have seen people swear outside of Junkyard (without stars) and get away with it before now, so I really don't know how they work. All I know is that the warning is fair the percentage could be seen as unfair dependent on who you are (and what you compare the offence(s) to), and you may be able to get it reduced through appeal, or it may just anger them into increasing it by 30% (or 34% if they are feeling particularly evil)...and that insulting them out of Playground may make him just increase the warn/ban you outright.

I got a clip of this song from an Evangelion advert on the Ghost in the Sheck disc that I bought today (for £3) and it just went 'Yep, that is Fotuna Imperatrix Mundi: I. O Fortuna, and this part of the song is done by Andre Previn'. But I am glad that I finally know what the song is after humming it for however many years. As it goes, I may have found a piece of classical music that Jonzu will like (it does pick up as the song goes on (quite abruptly at 1:26)

Just finished MvC3 again. It appears as though this game is one of the few fighters that doesn't make me want to lob my controller across the room in anger at the lack of my own skill. Especially considering how I killed two characters with one special (almost didn't, but the jackpot shot hit the support character and took away the last of his health).
