I thought that was Frenzy.py? I tried it and the hammer retracts fully back but won't fire at any point, so it's a little bit of progress.

General Support / Electric Hammer Help« on: February 09, 2018, 10:31:38 AM »Code: [Select] list.append(("Return Of Panic Attack B","ElectricHammer",{'nose':math.pi*2,'invertible':False,'radius':0.5,'topspeed':100,'throttle':100,'turn':100,'turnspeed':2.5,'MotorID':23,'NoChassisTime':2,'StartAngle':-math.pi*2,'SwingTime':5,'weapons':(0,)})) (Download for the .bot file should be at the bottom of the post if you wanna check it out.)So I've got this one robot left to AI for Swiss Army Warfare but I don't really know how to go about doing that. It drives around fine, but the hammer just doesn't do anything, it stays in the starting position (fully upright) and that's it. It doesn't move when something's in the Smartzone and it doesn't move when it's upside down. The Beta motor is the 24th component according to the .bot file, so I think that makes it the ID 23. Also I've tried a few values for StartAngle but they don't have any effect. Any suggestions? 583

Real Robotics Discussion / Re: BATTLEBOTS SEASON THREE CONFIRMED« on: February 07, 2018, 02:57:00 PM »
You know that applications never closed, right? People have been sending stuff since Season Two ended just because they were able to. Also, plenty of people build their robots in advance of any series being announced since they can also take them along to live events and stuff if they really want to. Also also, Robot Wars had a pretty similar timeframe, and that got plenty of new teams and robots. Also also also, they specifically say "Your old favorites and some exciting, new bots." which just illustrates my first point about applications never closing.

Checking out the site, the filming dates are pencilled in for March 24-April 9 2018, shooting in Los Angeles, CA. There are some new rules in the rulebook as well, namely a maximum tip speed of 370 ft/s (250 mph), and also allowing robots to go slightly over the weight limit (10 lbs over, max) so long as the only reason they are over the weight limit is due to purely cosmetic (ie, not armour, not a weapon, not entanglement) accessories and decorations.
Also, regarding the filming happening very soon... Quote from: Battlebots Website Because of this short timeframe, we have already picked the majority of robots for the series (Your old favorites and some exciting, new bots). However, there are still some slots left. 588

Looks like I'm against some very scarily named robots like Nibbler and Chicken Nugget. I'm frightened.

Find and replace would do most of the heavy lifting for you. Most of the pieces have a shorthand that's four(?) letters in them, but not all of them, so you'll have to edit a few manually.

Gravestone looks interesting, which is a difficult thing to do considering it's the billionth Tombclone we've seen. I like it.

Surprisingly stable considering the six 270 degree axles chained together. Remember GTM Robot Wars? No, me neither. Anyway, here's Lobstertastic!, the follow on to Lobsteriffic! that looks a lot more like a lobster and also makes use of stuff like RA2CF and DSC's multicoloured extenders. And a new ring spinner that's hopefully kinda potent. I dunno, I haven't had time to test it. It's got a 6-Mag in there, though, sooooooo... 600
