A hearty congratulations to every other t*** on the site who couldn't be assed to make an entry for the simplest BOTM in months.
Come on guys.....really?
easiest botm my ass If anything it's even harder than DSL standard. The easiest BOTM would be IRL non-replicas.

nah hnm's main point is good wedges (although the extra sheets do give it some armor)
123's bots are the way to go

all the replica and IRL builders here and only 2 entries? are you kidding me?
Well, my plan was to enter my old V3 replica, but I lost the files and I can't be arsed to build another one with college stuff at hand. :<

Yep, that's pretty much what I expected. I guess you could still toy around with the extender type but it's pretty good as is. :3

Making some nice progress so far. Now try fixing the chassis such that the black (rotated 90 degrees) is in between the drive and the snapper between the DDTs. That should somewhat fix the plow issue.

In general, strong motors with weak wheels are better than slow motors and nice wheels, as a fast spinning speed renders your weak wheels virtually invulnerable (unless you're against a wedge, which is pretty much a hard counter anyway).
So yeah, upgrading to mags is still the recommended choice.
And no, I don't whack people (at least intentionally hahahaha), but I do use sarcasm from time to time to make a point. Not this one, though. :P

You've actually made it worse. Despite the better drive, it's spaced narrowly which reduces its spinning speed. Get ants on mags and it should spin almost as fast as your first one.

Where do you even get wallet codes?
My local games store sells them in $15, $30, and $60 denominations. You pretty much just pay its equivalent plus an additional $1-2, which is how they make profit.

It's pretty frail as is, so dropping all possible armor choices would at least let you afford the weight for a sledge rather than 3 razors. Just use a poly to hold the drive and the longest carbon extender you can to hold the sledgehammer.

Don't have a credit card so I have to go to a store for a wallet code. Mine was at around a dollar so I can't afford it at the moment.
So instead I bought Just Cause 1.
Will reload sometime soon for Psychonauts though.

Wammer looks pretty good and you could probably add 2 maces to the sides to maximize weight.
LW looks decent enough, although you could achieve a similar setup without the axle (you might have to find a different servo position), and could possibly gain weight for a caster or something.

In general, anything that requires stabilizers and would be brittle without them shouldn't be bursted. This is pretty much the only way to make a bot good in sub-MW classes.
Spiderweb also looks pretty cool, although it can afford to go down to 2WD. You could beef up the defenses with the freed weight.

Battery doesn't matter much - armor would give way first.
Looks pretty nice, although you might want to maximize the weight by making the chassis slope even shallower - don't know how much better 1kg would add, but it wouldn't hurt to try if you're not building anything else.
