thanks yall!!!

i appreciate the feedback :)

one of my professors gave me credit for a question on an audio exam for writing in that line for an answer. didn't work as well on the finals :/
i like q-tip a lot so i'll have to check that out. ive remixed a couple of his songs before into some mash-ups but i probably don't have them anymore

anyways im still on a flipper kick and this time i went for a lightweight and this is what i've got. went with the burst motor reccomended here but im still incapable of flipping a damned thing. im guessing my flipper arm is still too big? cause that blows if that were really the case. most of the fun in building a flipper is building a wonderful looking arm!

(Image removed from quote.)

ah well. has trouble flipping most things in it's weightclass. this is the wrong way
quoted for page three since i know i dont go backwards on pages all that often and i wouldnt blame any of you for doing the same

wanted to try a beetleweight vs. apparently you can't spin those little armor plates vertically, they're terribly unbalanced. this robot can not sit on two wheels for more than a second after the weapon comes on. it's a damned shame. i think he's pretty

ill build something that works as intended some day

uhh dude i think you need to relax there was a two month opening of time for entries and youre buggin because people are taking their time. if you can't wait two months for entries then why would you make your deadline that far away? hella impatient

maybe ill enter just to cool your dang jets boyo

its a busta lyric sucka

i was actually never a huge fan either but i love his music videos

and rah diggah was cool

if youre talking about the bot then yeah but i was just happy i made something

i like the npcs sticking out like that honestly for the looks one and two to keep the wheels from being exposed
it probably would drive a little nicer had i done it the other way around though yeah

thanks for checkin it out though!

i remember i wrote an email to jim smentowski once about building bots and i was stoked when i actually got a reply back. i was probably like 13 or something too

i was actually offered an acting gig the other day but i dont think i could pull it because i cant do more than like two exaggerated voices

Yeah, activity from useless people.
maybe im missing the point but if the playground or whatever the hell yalls are talking about is a forum about nothing then isnt everything in there useless regardless of who its coming from

or does everyone here have pissy forum rivalries with each other. superiority complexes are helluva junior high bullsh**

id like to see more people even if yall think its 'useless'

Well, lets put it here now. It's probably more convenient

IronForge 1.0
http://www.mediafire.com/download/yqvso47gqdbo0ct/0873ironforge_10.rar
is this one of those things where it comes with a full install of the game so i dont have to do a fresh install and i can just run it right out of the rar

i wanted to have a flipper (had some inspiration to do something nice looking and irl-wise)

i built this with the intents of making it middleweight but i cant stand how i can only use the grandma tires with the motors that i used and still be moderately close to the ground without being skittish and the pussycats (i think) wouldnt fit on one for some reason even though there was plenty of room. this one is kind of a failure in a dozen different ways asides from not even coming in at middleweight at least in the iteration you see here

i know there are a dozen different ways i could make it more effective, especially the flipper arm, but this was made mostly for show

im actually unimpressed with the power of this burst motor, but ive probably underpowered it somehow, overloaded the arm, or im just not doing it right at all in any way whatsoever

heres 'flipmode is the greatest'

it adds an extra dimension to the robot. gives it a unique shape that cant be done with a chassis alone

i like it

yeah i have no doubt this is possible. with all of the huge steps forward ive seen and some of the insane things ive seen done around here recently i think it's only a matter of time before huge breakthroughs are made and more game designer types get their hands on our favorite ludicrously mod-able game
