From what I can see here you can still lower the chassis of the LW and the BW. :D

I was gonna enter Obso1337 into S32's tourney, but I got too lazy and ran out of time to make the splash. And actually, the top trapper's supposed to be a self-righting sheet. Now I just realized it can trap well, too. XD
As for the LW, I'll test it with Apanx's FBS.py too see if it can fare well. Also, it doesn't need a stabilizer on the other side. What it needs is at least 200cm of stabilizer otherwise the power of the drive would make the whole bot lean to the wheel's side, making the hammer fly up and the drive vulnerable. I might include it in the next NAR AI if it performs decently. :D 5663

Here's what I submitted to Joe for the Epic Showdown. I also posted the bot file in the thread, but here's 3nigm4:
Basically The Inglourious Basterd with weaker front armor and an extra skirt wedge in the middle just in case it loses both while self-righting. And Nary's not the only one building full-body popups: It was supposedly built to be a full-body flipper (much like Atmos), but it's too slow to fling it away. 12 ants, NPC drive, 30kg sledge ballast, 16 heavy DS teeth, and the one in the splash has 3mm aluminum. I forgot about that so now it has 3mm plastic and doubled the length of the aluminum sheets on the top. :D And finally, a bot I just whipped up 5 minutes ago: Some of you might know ACAMS' 2.4, which was impossible to put any battery inside without BFE. I made it larger and gave it 1mm tite, so its name is 2.8. I made this just to see if it works, and it did decently. But its setup can't be made effective at a LW level. Too bad. XD 5664

I know. I also tried one myself, but was overweight by exactly 28kg. Redbird drive, one black with CB stacked in 14kg plastic chassis, 48 maces in 4 Z-Teks on 2 Snapper2s. >.<
Oh well, you did it! :D Not really a joke, but... ![]() I WANT THIS BOOK :O 5666
Discussion / Re: Favourite Weapon Type« on: December 17, 2009, 04:41:24 AM »
This should be in the General Discussion section.
And what's a spike? Also, you forgot FS, Crawler, Poker, and Sawbot. Anyway, VS all the way. Weapon can flip opponents and cause damage at the same time! :P 5667

Well, modern rap is noise. I still prefer the gool ol' 90s rap.

Sweet. You might want to put the weapon rack a bit more forward, though. :D

Frets on Fire (I hold the keyboard up like a guitar). :P
My classmate had one, but something went wrong with his Halo and his Xbox went down with it. XD Oh, and FCPREMIX is also one of the songs that I wasn't able to FC (I didn't play the song much). XD 5672

I just recycled ReaXioN's chassis and tweaked some points, so it does have some space somewhere in the front. The wedges are as good as NWB's. But then...
O_O Hmmm... :O Anyway, anything that can't reach below its own chassis (sans HS) is dead when Helix gets under it. But my goal now is for it to be able to withstand the beating from tumbling VSes. Oh well, back to studying for now. :D 5673
Existing Games / Re: Guitar Hero« on: December 15, 2009, 10:02:46 PM »
Yep. But I don't own the game, though. I only played it at my classmate's house during a party.
AND THEY WUZ LIEK "OH UR SOO GUD U PURFEKTED D SONG O WE MUST WERSHIP U" AND I WUZ LIEK "wat o_o" XD Anyway, other friend of mine has the Death Magnetic pack for GH4, and it's probably my favorite pack as of now. I just couldn't FC The Judas Kiss (I always get careless in a part or another). x_x 5674

Hmmm... I need to build a VS. XD 5676
Stock Showcases / Re: Ariqhad's showcase« on: December 15, 2009, 10:09:46 AM »
You're having a drifting problem because the collision meshes of the drive don't line up with the ground. Rotate the drive motors 90 degrees so that the flat side is facing the ground.
As for Scrap #12, you'll find that adding a front and a rear stabilizer changes everything. :D 5677
