Shorten the wedge blades until you have 8kg in excess weight. Then attach an extender to the anchor and point it upwards using the side AP. Then attach another one to the extender's bottom using the opposite AP. Then attach your DDT and wedge there. Not sure if it breaks the rule of 7, but as far as I know wedges closer to the ground are wedgier than elevated wedges with the inverted small wedges. :D

Sweet bots! Mind if I use the weapon system of your drum on my prototype? It's so awesome. :D

@ S32 - I did, but for some reason both left wedges go under both chassis, making me unable to determine which one is wedgier. I just test it against other bots and check the ratios.

^^^ Hmm.. must've missed that part. XD

Oh well, after two days of tweaking, I found out that Z-Teks make the whole bot wobble no matter how carefully tuned the wedges are. So just swapped them back to birds and changed the weapon setup. So here's Helix 2:

Shrank the chassis, and the weapon motors are more protected. Wedges still remain wedgy (might be even wedgier than the first one) and now has a fighting chance against HSes. :D

COID has a plastic srimech extender. This one has titanium, I think.

Shrink the chassis, and attach the snapper first then the weapon HPZ. Axle load it out and attach the rest.

Again, don't use multi-extenders when they're not on the baseplate. Use flipper segments instead. And your wedge is too heavy. Use a skirt hinge and attach metal sheets to it and spend the extra weight on more weapons.

Right now your chassis wedge looks something like this:

It needs to be somewhere as shallow as this:

PitA has a steep wedge, meaning that it will be tough for bots to slide up and take damage. R4 has a shallow wedge, which is why opponents easily slide up and get 1HKO'd. :D

Small wedges don't do much when they're static. Use metal sheets and attach them to a metal hinge/skirt hinge. Much lighter and wedgier. Then replace the plow with shell panels so you can cover both sides. And finally, clean up your extender work and stick to flipper segments (4x the HP of a 20cm aluminum extender for the same weight). :D

I cloned Blade Barrier and it owns PC4 everytime (well, not everytime, but close enough). XD

Ditched the non-wedge thing. *ideasrunningout*

Single wedges eat Paper Cuts for breakfast. XD

Maybe I should build something without a wedge, for a change. XD

I bet Nary's invertable juggler still has a single wedge, so I'm dead. But if his other juggler has double wedges, then I might have a chance. XD

Got bored, quickly whipped this up in 3 minutes. Surprisingly good wedge despite the weight distro problem. XD
