Actually Sparks, 101 did have a clever system for its spike- it used sensors that would automatically fire the spike whenever a target came into range. And Thumper sounds interesting as well- have you got any pictures?

Mortis was really just an example of no matter how much money you throw at the sport you wont always win.
It was still a marvel of engineering, 3 hits per second, The force of a 33mm Bullet, using Centrifugal force, with a weight cap? That is borderline impossible
Quoted for truth- and then there's what was used in the armour- Titanium, Kevlar, Carbon Fibre, coated with Silicon Carbide- that's pretty much tougher than diamond when combined.

Is the Replica Wars arena OOTAable? How low are the walls in comparison to the RA2#2 Tournament Arena? (or whatever it's called)
From the videos it seems to be exactly the same as the RA2 Tournament Arena but without the hazards.
And to answer the question, yes. I've beaten Five opponents that way in Rep Wars so far. Just in case you're wondering, they were in order- - Craaig - Joe - Coolrunner - Badnik - Scrap Daddy

The chain of components, so in that case, ME-Tite Extender-DSL Bar-DSL Bar-Perm-Drum-Drum. That's 7 already.
Oh, OK. Not exactly the sharpest one in the drawer when it comes to these things, but I see now. However, I was able to improvise with a single drum and beater bars, laying them out quite close together to create a weapon that looked like a powerful single drum. It was quite effective too, being able to shred Second Sentinel quite easily.

What were you trying to attach to what?
I was trying to attach a medium drum to another medium drum. I then tried to attach beater bars to the first one, which I did, but I couldn't attach them to the second one along the line.
