Thank you

*First picture* Say ah. Awesome design. Only thing that give this thing any trouble would be a flipper because it doesn't look like it can self-right nor invertable.

You're definitely right and I forgot to mention that. Once it gets flipped over its a 99.9% certain game over.

Thank you for comments

Now something more different:

I actually surprised myself. I thought I would need to go SHW or UHW but I managed to build it as a HW with a respectable 3mm Titanium armor.

I wanted to make a video of it in action but the DSL3.0 AI bots just suck too much.

It's not very fast nor agile either. I would say average speed and low agility.
The lower jaw is wedged to slide the opponent in the mouth easily. The entire head works as flipper as it can fire upwards. But the upper jaw can also effectively close. Obviously both burst motors can be fired independently.
The tail is fixed on a 90º axle and so it can move freely. It can be useful to whip the opponent in tight turns or simply by charging backwards

Edit: I forgot that Alligator had 2 L's. Don't bother, lol

Sorry for interrupting the flow of Username meanings but I thought in sharing a winner Internet image:

I laughed for 10 minutes straight. Better yet it's now my profile picture in facebook!

Name origin? Ok well, When I played the WW2 free online game Enemy Territory. Some cool manly voices were heard when the player was on a killing spree. "Killing spree" for 5 kills; "Dominating" for 10 kills; "God like" for 15 kills and so on. But the word "Dominating" sounded more like Domanating. The word stuck on me. It just sounded cooler to my ear. So I use this as a username to every forum and game I'm a part of.

The cages are a bit tricky to make at first. But the main components to make them are the flipper segments and extenders. Those particular extenders you chose are the least advisable to use because they are very weak. But I understand if you're having issues with the weight limit.

If you repeat that extender work below the weapon bar, I think it would be neat for IRL standards. You'll have to change some components If you intend to keep it a Middleweight.

I think you might be also criticized by having such a big bulky exposed motor. It's not very realistic.

In terms of efficiency I'll agree with the above comments ^

But I really like the way it was built. It would be interesting if you could adapt that design into IRL. And that could help you get to the weight limit.

It wouldn't work well IRL. The motors are just far too exposed. A Nightmare-style VS, while overdone, would work better and be more stable than this.

That's what the remaining weight is needed for. To make the proper adjustments to make it IRL. That includes add supports and covering the motors

Cats are cuter, imo. They are also very independent and they only want to be pet when they are in the mood.
Dogs give a lot more work but eventually there are great benefits when the dog is well educated, if you have enough patience for that, of course. Unlike the cat, the dog needs much more attention.

There's also the usual argument of who's smarter. Personally I think cats are smarter but they are just too stubborn and don't give a damn about you, generally speaking. The dog for instance is always ready to learn.

I dare you to make an atom weight (50kgs or less)
in order to make a 50kg robot with 1WD shiny + RAD, a single razor tip and 1 pink battery, you would have to have a chassis that weighs -1kg.
probably wouldnt work.

6kg seems like it would be the bare minimum for anything to be make, but im a bit doubtful

You mean 60kg, right?

It doesn't matter if it's DSL or Stock or anything else. The number of rules for stock and DSL in previous BOTMs were the same number. There was no need to complicate, at least in my opinion.
First let me point out that I rarely join BOTMs. I just joined 2 because they seemed the most interesting. I wouldn't even join these last BOTMS, even if they had the simple rules like before, just because like many others I simply didn't feel interested. It's true that to me that giant list of rules repels me but I cannot judge this fully until I find a BOTM that actually interests me.
Oh. OK then, "DSL Venko". But I think, that you should still enter, until everyone get totally bored from "stock Venko" and "DSL Venko" winning all the BOTMs

That's something I was afraid of because I won 2 BOTMs in a row (the only 2 I ever joined). They are the December 2012 and January 2013 BOTMs. The February 2013 BOTM also got my interest but I was afraid to win 3 times in a row.... So I didn't participate. And now I regret that decision, because maybe just maybe if I had joined, the new BOTM wouldn't have been implemented.

Also, consider this as a huge compliment, since I don't post at DSL threads at all...

I already did since the 1st time you posted on my showcase, m8. Thanks a lot

Also, thank you Scrapyard and Mechadino for your speechless comments

As for the BOTM. I don't feel much compelled to build anything for the BOTM because of the recent addition of a large amount of rules and restrictions. It's almost like I need to make a check list to make sure I'm following every single rule. The previous BOTM was way simpler and straight forward.
Ouch. I told I'm not much into DSL...

Thank you all

Better than your ball. I assume the turret rotates all the way?

Yes, the turret is powered by a small servo motor so it rotates a full 360º.

STAHP IT

NERF DOM PLS

(also, can the barrel be adjusted?)

although i'm guessing he has something planned for botm as well

When you mean "adjusted" I suppose up and down? In that case unfortunately no due to the rule of 7 and the fact that DSL 3.0 does not have the Metal Hinge.
So instead of giving the barrel the up and down motions, which consequently would mean an incomplete barrel, I decided to sacrifice realistic mechanics to more realistic visuals of the cannon.
But I did add the recoil feature of the cannon using a small servo piston shown in the pic below. As the real tank, only the thinner part of the cannon actually recedes into the turret.

Sorry for the bad quality of the letters (the word below says "recoil"). I edited the pic 4 times.
Also the turret could be way more realistic but the rule of 7 stood in the way again. the most time consuming part of the build was making the turret the best looking possible.
If I had the Metal Hinge I would probably be able to make a complete cannon plus the up and down movements but not the recoil feature.

Thank you very much, very appreciated

Here's something many people know what it is:
Just for the record I might make a video with it but I'm still not sure. the tank tracks are kind of slow and buggy.

Yes it does have suspension. Although not the same as a real tank

go read some books, you are the only one that controls your destiny. Life has no meaning unless you make one.
And you know what they say- some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad, other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble, give a whistle- and this'll help things turn out for the best...

Jesus man.  And here I am wondering whether I have enough responsibility for one cat.

Ahaha, don't worry. The mother is the one that has all the work to keep the newborns. We just need to do some small maintenance once in a while. The kittens are gone as soon as they start eating solids. The only issue is the need to buy food more often.
Also having a large garden for the cats to wander around also reduces the amount of responsibility needed.

How was that like? you know, having 14 cats. :P

It was kind of scary at first but also very cool to see both mothers babysitting each others kittens and actually taking turns in caring for them (very interesting to watch). 12 cats in one box, lol
But as I said above, It won't give much work as 3 cats, as long as you don't keep the newborns until a certain age

I love cats. I just can't eat a whole one by myself.

Lol

Cats are pretty nice pets and they don't give as much work as dogs (although I have a dog too)
My house is factory of cats, literally. The standard number of cats here is 3. But since we have one very sexually active male, one of the females has produced on average around 100 cats in its 8 year life and just made 5 more, 2 weeks ago (I'm seriously not exaggerating in the numbers). Once they reach a certain age, they are given to whoever wants to keep a cat.
The maximum number of cats my house held at once were 14 when my 2 females incredibly gave birth in the same day.
