Yes, you would have to go into the botlab and rewire each one.

1) Not allowed to only enter 1?
2) My previous unanswered questions still stand - why ONLY RW bots and why the wrong weight limit?

Just read through this and its a shame about the no BattleBots rule... I have a No Apologies replica-ish raring to go :/
He's changed the rules to allow all competitions

I've had some luck by pressing the pause key if it's cause by a motor that won't stop spinning.

Lol, why?  It's a plain robot with a mediocre weapon.

Resetti what drugs are you on mang

edit: why is that trending on tumblr, it isnt even funny holy
I'm hooked on a feeling and high on believing.  I'll admit, there's a bit of historical knowledge needed to get the subtle nuances.  This is a movie from the 1990s lampooning an idyllic TV show from the 1970's by having the parents by overly happy and the kids be overly prim and proper, and Jan and Marcia's exchange, where they act as Downton Abbey stuffy as possible while still being their age, is where it dives off a cliff into ridiculousness.

Heh, probably not.  I built this for Wiki Wars, one of the members requested a bot he'd built in AoD, and since it was a simple build I went ahead with it

The rw thing is changed. Battlebots count as well (however please don't just go for battlebots competitors, make an effort for robot wars bot). Also, Robotica and other robot combat show bots count (of course similar to the robot wars, battlebots robots - not the show Chris Jericho presented)
The main reason I didn't want bb robots is because I think they're overpowered.
They had the advantage in real life but you should of all people know that the replicas don't always perform as well as their counterparts.

you know what this sounds like

it sounds just like what my dsl3 ai does

they all kinda futz around aimlessly, only acknowledging you in the sense of them trying to keep their back facing you for most all of the match

does anyone remember how to fix that
(unless that's something completely unique to the copy of dsl3 i have)
The wheel GMF's have all been changed, so now the wheels go the opposite way that they're supposed to.  Either put the old wheel GMF's back in, or open each bot up in the Botlab and rewire them individually

JD why does it jus have to be RW?  You're stifling most of the American members' interest for no good reason.  Remember that you have no tournament if people don't enter.

DSL 2 or 3?  I know we have custom components on but we should agree on a baseline.  My vote's for 3.

Great guide.  Do you think it would be helpful to include some text with each bot picture explaining why it fits the category?  It might not be intuitive to a newcomer.

What about Body Control? That's pretty cool.
i can only get off if my partner is violently flailing and convulsing against their will
Like that episode of "The League?"

We have liftoff; this clip from the 1996 Brady Bunch movie, specifically where Marcia doesn't believe there's someone named George Glass at their sküle.

Check your controller programming screen - are you absolutely sure that the forward and reverse controls work as they should, and are labelled properly?  Humor me and try it right now, even if they did work previously.

Infernal Contraption.  Pretty happy with how this one turned out.  Disregard the missing hubcaps on the good picture; I needed to use it for reference since it's higher quality than the rest.
