My brother is a ritual beast player, but I know for a fact the 2 decks I'd be interested in playing wouldn't stand a chance against raid raptors or ritual beasts or yang zings.

An official tourney based on my original RA2 annual series will begin discussion shortly after the release of RA3 so we can get a feel for where the meta is headed and reorganize the tournament staff for said tournament.

I disagree with the last part. Instant fusion has been perfectly fine until noden came out. It's noden that was the problem. Hitting IF just hurts other decks that use it, punishing them because a new card that they don't even play exists. It's like how Laval's lost rekindling once firefist abused it. Or dragunities losing Ravine because konami released dragon rulers. I have when they do that.. Make an older deck unplayable because some new unbalanced BS that they released. I was a Laval player with a full foiled out main and extra including staples and Quasar back when it cost 90 bucks. My entire build was at one point worth around $400. And then because konami doesn't know how to balance new decks, I lost the core cardnof my deck.

The problem is that the decks that generate their own advantage can also just play upstart on top of that to play a 37 card deck. It's no secret that they want people playing the new stuff, that's how they sell product. Why do you think pendulums are pushed so hard, just as nekroz got banned to smithereens?

You can actually do some decent skinning in MS Paint if you take the time to do it right.

The staff admittedly hasn't been that on point as far as the minor offenses go. In the past week or so we've been working on ironing out the kinks on revamping our warning system and the ruleset that goes with it in order to ensure that all staff members are on the same page and working at the same level across the board in preparation for the influx of new users and/or increased activity when RA3 drops. Most of the credit this time around goes to Naryar for taking the time to break everything down. We should hopefully be finished up ironing it out and have it rolled out soon.

Any clashers around here? I've been messing around with this mobile game for a couple years now and just started taking it somewhat seriously in the past 6 months or so.

My level 4 clan needs a couple more active players for weekly wars. A lot of our top guys stopped playing recently. If anybody is interested feel free to shoot me a message here or on skype.

Interesting test, actually. I would definitely like to see it with a control board.

To an extent yes, but it's not like 'reason' has ever been used appropriately. And even if it was, it can still be pretty vague and users may fail to make the connection. I'm talking about having a real, solid correlation that can be seen with minimal chance for discrepancy.

Don't you guys see the IP address of every post? It wasn't wierd that so many came from Missouri?

It doesn't actively tell us what state the posts are coming from. The only time we would notice something going on is if we had a reason to believe that something like this was up. In general, we can't just assume that everybody is letting others access their accounts,

Regardless, MNB, you are responsible for the security of your own account. The blood is on your hands just as much as it is Andy's, if that is what happened here.

« on: April 04, 2016, 12:13:41 PM »
My biggest problem with the whole rep thing going back is that it has no relation to the post or posts that you are being repped up or down on, so there's no visible correlation with what's going on. For that reason, the rep doesn't amount to anything whatsoever for the individual getting repped or the people who view the rep stats. If the system is supposed to show other members what a quality post looks like, then it is falling short in this aspect. And if you are getting repped down off of a single post, you would never know it. There is nothing telling you what specific behavior is causing the rep drop.
