All the previous updates have been building up to something, and now that the round tank treads and the axle extenders are done, I've finished the new El Diablo!
(Image removed from quote.)
It's now a MW like the real bot, and it's also much more dangerous. The drum is low enough to hit any wedge that tries to get under it, and unlike a lot of replicas, it actually has a decent number of weapon components.
In case you're wondering why the drum looks different, it's based off of this version of El Diablo:

Next up: Firestorm. It's about time I started AI'ing these new replicas, and I decided the first team is going to be fire-themed and include Bob, El Diablo, Firestorm, and an as-yet-undetermined SHW (Alcoholic Stepfather?)
This was found on Page 38. You can use the search bar to look inside of the thread that you are currently viewing.

A component's shape and ease of use also influences its effectiveness in a design. For this reason, you see spike strips, blades, battle axes, and mower blades used for protection. The components that you listing are merely guidelines that are based solely on HP and damage. You would be hard pressed not to use any of those components but people should not be restricting themselves to them when a design could work better with different ones.
Progress is being made on DSL but it will always have some of the same issues as stock.
Personally, I don't care which version of the game people choose to play. I enjoy playing stock more but DSL is not without its own merits.

Wait, I had a custom showcase?
According to the database, you posted images in the following topics: - Pay Tribute With Replicas (this is where most of your points are coming from)
- N00b bot showcase!
- SMs Space arena showcase. (your custom showcase)
- Battleshots
...
You're just messing with me, right?
You're obviously messing with me.
66% of the images that you posted were from your DSL showcase and you still would have made it into the top 10 if we only counted those...

Sage's Skin Pack only modifies the components folder so it is hardly worth having a ready-to-go version (especially if we made other ready to go versions of stock because it which would make it incompatible with them). DSL3 Beta is still under active development so it is still recommended that people use DSL2. The 1.4 patch comes with the AI parts unlocked IIRC. Edit: If not, you can download it from here under the name "Combo AI & SZ."

Thanks ACAMS.
The extension that was displaying the BBC menu in the profile section was causing the issue. Just as a warning to everyone, the BBC menu stuff may appear/disappear a few times in the profile section before I've got it fixed (which will be hopefully soon).

Inf's signature isn't moving because I never fixed ACAMS BBC tags after the forum update. ACAMS created the new ones so in order to restore them, I need to dig through the backup for them (something I haven't done yet because nobody asked me to do so).
Noodle is not the reason for your signature not working. He was only able to break the bot exchange because it wasn't doing any sort of name validation/hashing. The version of your browser shouldn't matter either because all the heavy lifting is done by the server and all your browser needs to do is send the text.
Am I right in assuming that no one else is having difficulties editing their signature?

As I've stated numerous times before, the way I calculated these ranks is not without its flaws but I hope that you guys find it as interesting as I did. Rank | Stock | DSL | Custom | All | 1. | Pwnator | 123savethewhales | Sonny_Resetti | Naryar | 2. | J | FOTEPX | GoldenFox93 | Pwnator | 3. | Sparkey98 | Naryar | 123savethewhales | 123savethewhales | 4. | ianh05 | MassimoV | Badnik96 | FOTEPX | 5. | Sage | ty4er | Rob Collins | Squirrel_Monkey | 6. | Naryar | Squirrel_Monkey | JoeBlo | NFX | 7. | NFX | martymidget | Sparkey98 | Sparkey98 | 8. | Gazea2 | Pwnator | GroudonRobotWars | ty4er | 9. | Mr. AwesumSauce | SKBT | Naryar | MassimoV | 10. | Virus Bomb | Conraaa | Squirrel_Monkey | martymidget |
I didn't give you guys the numbers but I will tell you that quite a few of the ranks could have moved around over the past week (although, they didn't) and there are some users that were really close to getting on the lists. Using the same method of calculation, are there any guesses as to what years stock and DSL were most popular? (1 year for each)

With the exact same permissions as Ian05, MR TEST was able to edit his signature.
What are you guys trying to do to your signatures? It might have something to do with the content that you are putting into it.
I'll continue to look into it but is anyone else unable or able to edit their signature?

Does it work after I changed it for you? It seems to be working for me (doesn't say much) but is it working for everyone else? I'll use Mr.TEST later if everyone else is experiencing this issue. Here is what you had before:

Whoops, I don't know how I missed them... They are fixed now.

I had a feeling that you would pay a visit today but I never expected a beta for DSL3... You rock. It's possible, however, to make a "compatibility pack" that would include all the missing DSL2 components (but hidden), so you can at least import DSL2 bots and then manually "convert" them to DSL3 yourself. This is something I have planned for later.
I could write a quick little program that would convert DSL2 to DSL3 after the bot exchange is finished.

I removed the problematic data so it should be working now.

How long are you waiting before hitting the "Close the program" button? The not responding message can pop up while the game is loading because the game doesn't give your computer any feedback about its progress.

(Image removed from quote.) World Peace can grab and flip. It does it pretty well actually.

You could probably use percentages instead of pixels (that way everything resizes to work in any resolution and it will make your job much easier). I would love to see the rest of the UI also converted but you probably don't have enough time to do that...

It doesn't dig into files or count attachments. It is only looking for the [img] tag in a post that is outside of quote tags. It is too hard to get a rough estimate by other means because everyone does things differently. Although, I've always recommended posting one bot per post and that seems to be what most people did in the past.

Curious, are you actually making this arena from GMF files or in a 3D program?
He is using a 3D program ATM. I'm pretty sure that the screenshot that he took is from a CAD program. The speed at which the pit is moving doesn't matter because it is just a 3D model. He has to add the hinges and prismatics himself after exporting what he has to a GMF file. Also, it shouldn't be too difficult to slow the pit down (gravity can be easily compensated).

As stated in my edit, the program is only counting the number of posts with images in them that are found in the showcase sections (excluding the quoted images didn't seem to change the top 10 posters). I didn't turn this into a contest because the way that it is counting things doesn't give the most accurate of results.
The scope is also limited to the GTM forums from 2004 to now (everything in the forum's records) so you may want to consider people that aren't around anymore.

Who do you think the top 10 bot posters are in the showcases?
I'll give the answer next Wednesday.
Edit: I should warn you that each post with an image gets one point regardless of content (it could have numerous bots or be merely a meme).
