You killed Fury thrice. :))
Maybe you could replace the irons with razors, and replace the red extender with an iron or a mace as active protection. :D
[Edit] Eyeglasses fail D:

Again, just because it's a prototype doesn't mean they should be crappy. From your point of view you would be attaching a saw just because it's a prototype, and you'll change them to a disc with razors. That's a bad idea. Discs with razors and irons have different sizes (which is quite important on VSes), changing from one weapon to another can ruin the whole bot. Just because 90-degree anglers are easier to use doesn't mean that you should use them instead of round extenders. Extenders have different attachment point positions so even a slight shift in position could make the chassis vulnerable.
In short, you still need to spend time on prototypes. Concentrating on the prototype could help you determine which aspect still needs to be updated instead of just fixing the whole thing (that will give you a bigger headache).
OK, so back to your showcase. VSes don't tend to be invertible. Instead, they usually self-right. You can do that by using a tribar or a disc with long weapons (like irons), and having a short chassis (a shorter chassis means self-righting quicker and easier). And in stock, realism doesn't matter, so you can have a bunch of weapons and components passing through the battery, the motors, everything. If you're desperate, just use grannies, but that's the farthest you can go. If you really need it to self-right, add some effort by using burst motors (and you can add wedges to them, which can be found in most bots). Just read the link from the BeetleBros site and try replicating one of the sample bots in there (try that HW rammer with tons of irons in front, for example) and you can add your own twist to it (just make sure it benefits the bot).

It should. Dark Pounder's only 1 pound. It's motor is already freakishly fast. Use the same motor and just spend the remaining weight on stabilizers and a bigger disc.

Sparkey, you gotta listen to what experienced builders say. HPZ motors might be good, but attaching poor weapons on it makes is basically useless. Don't use steering motors. They are a wasted of weight and space, and are very slow. Saws are terrible weapons, and the same goes to blades. The only weapons worth using are razors, irons, maces, axes, pointy tips, bear claws, and pole spikes, and on a lower degree, single-sided ice picks, blades, spike strips and samurai swords (these 4 could be used for motor and extender protection, which means these can't be used as your true weapons). Also, having a smaller chassis doesn't matter much when you have external armor such as plows and ram plates (though most bots have weapons acting as protection already). It won't help you if you keep building tons of bad bots instead of improving your old ones. Showcase a bot, ask others for advice, fix it again, and fix it again until most are satisfied. Again, visit this site ( http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm), which will surely help you make better bots. Visit other builders' showcases for more ideas and try to clone some of them to help you build better. :D

S.T.C. mostly likely built that to be a rammer and not a wammer. But chassis space can still be minimized if use 2 ants and put them side-by-side in front of the drive and the CB rotated 90 degrees and placed way back. If the skirts' meshes interfere with the wheels, you'll probably need some axle loading (just put a Storm piston on the motor and glitch it out, then remove the burst and attach the wheel), but the setup's still realistic. :D

Fixing the chassis space and swapping to shinies might give you DSA. But that still looks good. :D

Pinks are easy. Snappers, blacks and control boards are moderately difficult. But good job on the anchors. I haven't tried nifties before, though. :P

DP! And a new bot! :D I was experimenting again on the loaded rupting glitch, this time on hammers. Again, it's also a fail (but it can do some serious damage when the game glitches in favor of the hammer, though). But I did tweak its chassis and made this: 1 black, 4 razors, DSA. I've always wanted to make a smaller version of Fatal Encounter. Average wedges, but can get lots of 2-HKOs. But I need to find a way to shed 1kg (the extra 0.1kg is for the SZ) from the chassis so that I can extend the hammers by a notch for a longer reach. :D

Lets play a game...Spot the error in the AI lines!
# 42 - Dark Factory of Mass Production "We don't have a motto yet" list.append(("Revelation","Kheper",{'nose':math.pi*2,'invertible':True,'radius':1,'topspeed':99,'throttle':100,'turn':100,'turnspeed':2,'ServoID':7,'NoChassisTime':4,'weapons':(32,33,34,35,36,37)})) list.append(("Blind Destruction","Kheper",{'nose':math.pi*2,'invertible':True,'radius':1,'topspeed':99,'throttle':100,'turn':100,'turnspeed':2,'ServoID':7,'NoChassisTime':4,'weapons':(32,33,34,35,36,37)})) list.append(("Abyssal Designator","Kheper",{'nose':math.pi*2,'invertible':True,'radius':1,'topspeed':99,'throttle':100,'turn':100,'turnspeed':2,'ServoID':7,'NoChassisTime':4,'weapons':(32,33,34,35,36,37)})) list.append(("AW-The Prodigy","Omni",{'nose':math.pi*2,'invertible':True,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':100,'throttle':130,'turn':60,'turnspeed':2.5,'weapons':(12,13)})) list.append(("BW-Byter","Omni",{'nose':math.pi*2,'invertible':True,'radius':0.1,'topspeed':100,'throttle':130,'turn':60,'turnspeed':2.5,'weapons':(12,13)})) list.append(("Evil Intent","FBS_1",{'PreSpinEntrance':5,'SpinDirection':1,'ReMobilizeRoutineTime':20,'nose':math.pi*2,'radius':0.3,'range':99,'topspeed':100,'throttle':130,'turn':90,'turnspeed':4,'weapons':(22,23,24)}))
I can't find it and it might not be something wrong with the AI. It doesn't crash like it usually does when there is an AI mistake. It stops loading when the screen gets to 3/4 of the bar on the loading screen of NAR AI. I can't even get out of it either, I have to restart my computer.
Try opening it using Notepad++ and check if your bindings have these: This has happened to me on various occasions. What I do is just backspace the automatic indent before list.append and type space one by one until it's indented properly. :D

Try to find a battery setup where you can have a smaller T chassis instead of that large E chassis. And your 2-Mags are quite exposed. You a Perm 80 so you can remove one ant and save more weight. Use the remaining weight to change the plastic extenders to skirts for stabilizers. And if you have more free weight, swap the shinies to Vlads.

That's probably where the Mag snappers come in. I'll try building a version of TIB with BSGs to see if it can self-right.
But the weapon setup is schweet. :D

Nice! Time to nitpick. XD
You can eFFe/snapper load all the motors so you can have the middle two motors inward a notch or two and have the outside pair attached to the extender (and also having this shorter by notch or two) holding the drive. Then you can also shrink the chassis (the part in front of the snappers) a bit so you can attach your maces like the old AC. It's generic, but it's still practice. :D
