Well guys, I found THIS in the manual:
"This PS3 has LIMITID backwards compatibility with PS2 games."
So my PS3 has BC?

Pretty sure that all of them have a limited backwards compatibility, there is probably a list of all of the PS2 games that work.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_3_backward_compatible_PlayStation_2_and_PlayStation_games

May or may not be right, I have no idea. I will be checking Ratchet and Clank at some point though.

Only the 60GB had proper backwards compatibility, then they removed the chips that allowed you to play PS2 games in order to reduce the price (if I remember correctly). I think that Singstar may be an exception to this, but that may just be that it can recognise the disc so that you can unlock additional content in the PS3 version (I can't remember if you are able to play the PS2 versions or not, nor can I remember if there were any other PS3 games that used PS2 games). I'm pretty sure that I tried playing a PS2 game on the PS3 I have (it didn't work, so I played a PS1 game instead).

Just got the 3DS version of Snake Eater, and just completed the prologue part. The most hilarious part is that my picture camouflage is of a cat, and it is pretty much the best one I have.

....Basically an obvious Call of Duty replica?

Actually, if I remember correctly, the guys who made Bulletstorm made it to take the mick out of Call of Duty...and in the advert for Bulletstorm itself (basically saying how Bulletstorm isn't just a generic FPS). And then a lot of people said that they should've gone to make a full game of that rather than releasing Bulletstorm.

Hey, random question:

On average, how much money do you guys have?

Something like £50-£60 in the bank, £17 a week earned, £25 a month in pocket money, and a failure to actually save money.

music in 10 years

this is real

...My ears hurt and I wasn't even wearing my headphones. It sounded like a mixture between a the wheel screech of a car, a cat purring, and something I can't quite put my finger on.

That was fun, on the bright side, there were only two overly difficult fights that I got annoyed at, and I didn't have to reduce the difficulty to win one of them.

SCV is an amazing game! I agree it's quite difficult at times, but very enjoyable

And I'm listening too

Lamb of God - Ghost Walking

I only had real trouble with Chapter 18 Nightmare and Chapter 20 Elysium, other than that, not much trouble, started it last night, finished story mode just as I made my last post. But I found chapter 18 Nightmare to be extremely hateful.

I use a Nokia as well, personally. Fairly recent, no real bells or whistles, but it functions well, and for that, it is good. I have since named it Terrence    :gawe:
I'm pretty sure we have the same model of phone. I remember you showing it me once and I was like "HOW DID YOU GET MY PHONE"

I think that was me...unless it was both of us, but I'm pretty sure that I have pretty much that exact quote in my chat logs...somewhere.

New topic- all of a sudden, I feel the urge to beat another GTMer at Ten-pin Bowling.
If Wii sports had online multiplayer...
Meh, It's OK, but I'm better at actual Bowling. Granted it has helped my IRL technique, but whenever I bowl on Wii Sports, it always seems to veer off to the left.

With me, it's the other way around. Must be to do with my right-handedness. =P

Huh, I'm right handed, and I seem to veer off to the left more (but that's probably because I can't keep my wrist straight). I actually haven't been bowling in a little while, I really should go again at some point.

Listening to it on the title screen of Brutal Legend, but never mind the technicalities.

Even though I am actually listening to the one that had that little spoken intro at the start, couldn't find that on YouTube.
