a couple questions about the motors

1. what's the shaft diamiter?
2. how many volts are required to use them fully?
3. are those bananna plugs at the ends?

0_0 is there a fast motor for $20 each? just  two of THOSE motors, the sabertooth, and the radio will make me go overbudget

Tell your parents Alex from Team CWG told you to get different parts because the current ones you. Want will be a waste of money. Tell them the same things I've told you and make sure to tell them it's cheaper. If you can't convince them to let you get the other motors here is a more expensive alternative.  http://www.robotmarketplace.com/products/0-B16.html

Spektrum 2.4GHz is only Spektrum .4GHz compatible.

That motor is backordered  :embarr

I told you to check out those motors I posted before. Two of them are great in weaponed beatleweights and four would kick butt in a pusher. Also with 3" wheels it would get around 8mph (rough mental math estimate) which is more than fast enough for a Beatleweight in a 8' X 8' arena. But if you don't want to cough up the extra $12 to buy them and have a underpowered bot feel free to do so. Also you don't need a switch per say. I use a removable power link in my 30lber. That's a fancy name for unplugging the battery and plugging it in right before the match. :P

These motors are better than the ones you have in your screenshot and are cheaper. $12 VS $19

My parents said i can only get the parts from Only 1 store!
should i get a faster motor for my robot?
Edit: does a Spektrum AR500 reciever do Futaba or JR plugins?

wheeeeeee

The Bat

(Image removed from quote.)
(Image removed from quote.)

Due to weight constraints, the wings are static and I needed the angled poly skirts because I don't have enough weight for a rear ballast.

Might revise this later though, when I'm done with my programming homework. >.<

I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED THAT!

Armour : Polycarbonite (FREE)(Good choice, but make sure its real polycarbonate, plexy glass is often confused for it, and will shatter like, well, glass. You should also chemically weld it together, you'l have armor that will be nearly unbreakable.)
Speed Contrlorrer : Sabertooth 5 ($60)(Nice choice)
Radio package : GWS (about $100)(Its a very basic radio, your going to waste your money that won't work. For the same price, you could get the Spektrum DX5e, which would be a much better radio. Just remember that the AR6110 is going to put you a bit over budget.)
Motors: Spare Taymia motors ($6 for 2)(Those seem awfully small to drive a beetle around.)
Wheels : i forgot the name (about $4 for 2-pack)(I'm guessing these are lite flights. Your going to need hubs, they don't bolt on to the shafts.)
Battery for Sabertooth: Custo0m Made Battery ($15)
Battey for reciever : Custom made battery ($5)(A BEC is much better and wont add to much weight, but might be a bit more pricey, but it's going to total how much you would pay for another switch, RFL rules require a switch between all power sources.)
X2 battery charger ($30 for 2)
Fastners ($10)

Is this what you would recommend?
My thoughts hi-lighted in red.

i'm pretty sure it's real polycarbonite, it's coming from my mom's boyfriend, and he works with plastics, metals, the whole works.

thanks

i'mm getting spektrum instead thanks to some help

i'm getting diffrent motors since evryone is complaining

there not lite flites, there more offroad style

still getting custom battery

no reciever battery, since i found out it has a bec

only 1 charger now

same fastners

that's my replies in the same order

pretty much the chasis of rammstien, but a flain at the back instead of a spike

EDIT: those kind of stuff put me overbudget, and even though they might be better, i only got $250, and i can't solder.
