Righty-ho, looks good for a first bot.

To stop the spinning, switch tabs, that stops it.

Try to resize the chassis to make it as small as possible, but so the components can fit in.

MW is up to 398.9 (I think), so I'm afraid you'll need to trim down a bit on the weight, but making the chassis smaller will give you that weight.

I'll leave you in the hands of more experienced members, who will most likely tell you how to improve the weapons system and drive.

And is the armour DSA?
1: It didn't. I continued spinning even AFTER I reloaded the bot. I had to reboot the game EVERY TIME
2: Dammit, it was hard enough to fit my stuff in here first
3: Thanks to a suggestion earlier in the thread, it's middleweight now.
4: Steel.

Use  round extenders, instead of 90o angle connecters.
http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm
I can't do that because in the editor the disks are spinning REALLY SLOOOOWLY so I can't select anything. When I can get it to work, I will.

NEVER MIND THAT

Existing Games / Lunia: RPG cross action game
« on: August 01, 2011, 01:30:13 PM »

Quote
Lunia: Record of Lunia War (often referred to simply as Lunia) is a pseudo-3D, isometric Massive Multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Korean company allm. Lunia's global release was being run by CDC Games USA at their 12FootTall game portal, but has since been moved to ijji. The game aims to offer a new style of game play differing from most MMORPGs by mixing elements of action games and RPGs together.

Gameplay
The gameplay is like what would happen if you took an MMORPG, let's say World of Warcraft, and combined it with a beat 'em up. (you can fill in the example here). It has an insane amount of combos, 17 different characters all with their own appearance and skill sets, a skill selection system and more. The game is split into 7 episodes, each with 10 stages. When you're done with that, you can play the infinite enemy modes, you then can play through on legend mode, where the enemies are much tougher, and THEN play Myth mode (after grinding a fair bit). And there's PVP. And a story told by cutscenes. Yeah, it's pretty deep.

Characters
I don't know too much about this forum's community yet, but I think this is where most people will start dismissing the game because of its artstyle. Don't. Because this game has 17 characters, I'll only go through the first 4 you''ll likely come across.

Sieg: Knight

GOOD FOR: Front line, speedy, continuous attacks

Eir: Medic

GOOD FOR: Support roles, reviving, healing. VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE PER PARTY

Dainn: Wizard

GOOD FOR: AoE, long range, long combos

Tia: Thief

GOOD FOR: Very fast attacks, insane at PVP

A quick note on the story:
If you think it's ridiculous, you're not alone.

This is on stock 1.3, with a file downloaded to add AI parts like bear claws to the menu. The bot works FINE in season mode, until the match ends when it will crash again.

ALL WILL BE REVEALED ABOUT THE IDENTITY OF THIS SOON

I recently made a robot (which you guys WILL see when this is fixed) which seems to work until it's time to actually use it in a battle.

When loading it in exhibition, the thumbnail disappears, leaving a "insert here" even though I took one and it worked. Then, when starting the match, "Robot Arena 2 has stopped working".

Any help?

Mirror's Edge. I LOVE DICE, but this was their first bad game. It's a shame, because it tried so hard.

If you try and attack me with all your greatest soldiers because I didn't like it, be warned, I have my own forces.  :tank2

Replicas. Those are pretty much the only things I play with there. Anyway, a working razer (NOT JUST BECAUSE THAT WAS MY NAME) and moar flippers in both new and replica, pl0x.

Anyone have a crate key?
If you know anything about the game's economy, you know people will trade very, very "valuable" things like earbuds and bill's hats for them. I know, it's dumb too.
And more reason to influence the "Hat Fortress" meme.
This game's community can, at times, be incredibly bad. The fact that there ARE item values is dumb in itself.

I posted that before I saw your post. Sorry.
I was more commenting on the fact that you just copied the same post and added a bit onto the end.  :laughing

I like my robots clean and realistic to an amateur's robot war show
You might want to try downloading DSL, and building some IRL-style robots, in the same way Thyrus and dragonsteincole do. =)

This, then join Blades of Fury :approve:
HMM, THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR
