I am starting to get a little worried about AntonYYYm. If it gets a good lucky flip, it could be bad. Although the thin profile of Come Get Some! could have hindered it, along with its NPCs...
I wouldn't worry too much. After testing Stanley 2 against my LW Flipper, it gets flipped out only half of the time, and AntonYYYm's flipper is skinnier and probably weaker, but it's still faster. I just hope you don't lose the round after, 'cause then you'll end up on the same side of the loser's bracket as me.

I don't think 1mm titanium armor on a chassis that small is a very good idea. I would try to find a way to free some weight for a half-sheet on the bottom or at least 5mm plastic.

Shrink the chassis then. 12 ants (if I'm counting correctly) is too much, but 8 would be fine.

Excellent! Although I don't recall what armor you're using for that chassis.

For those who were complaining about Neptune 2's realism issues: Basically the same amount of weight invested in the weapons for an even better setup (though I don't know if it's more realistic really). It now performs even better against Death Star and managed to rip off all of Quasar's external razors.

My friend created a team shortly after I acquired DSL. He built a couple of bots, then abandoned it, and it eventually became the Assassinators in NAR AI (that's right, one of my NAR AI teams was started by my inexperienced friend).
One of the bots, if I recall, was a hammer that used a battle axe, also had a flamethrower, and had 4WD including *ehem* Piglet's for one set of drive motors.

Congrats to everyone! Can't wait for BTTB 2(I'm eager to see if someone can make a HW Stiletto that is as good as Broadsword, which probably won't happen, but still).

I forgot about this. It's kinda hard when you can't vote for yourself, especially when you're the champion. Favorite Match: Doomkiller vs PwnatorBest Design: AltitwudeBTSHDBBDDTBL: Embodiment of the BlockbusterFavorite Bot: WindmillBTDBTEPDTGL: Crush's Big Daddy

For those wondering the setup of my BTTB entry: 3 blacks, 12 razors on 4 Snapper 2s, wedge length: 160 cms of extenders. The reason for the superb wedges I believe lies in the position of the wedge mounts. I seem to have better success with wedges when I put more weight before the wedge mount. When I implemented that theory into this bot I was quite surprised, and satisfied, with the result.
I've also rebuilt my LW mace rammer. It uses less extender work than the previous version, so I was able to get stronger weapons, and is more stable. However, it still havoks against certain opponents, and runs out of power too quickly for my liking. I plan to downgrade the axes to razor tips and use the weight to add another pink and lengthen the weapon rack by 20 cms.

Well what do you expect when working with metal/skirt hinges?

So it's not only part HS and rammer, but part side hammer as well? Interesting. Would it help to switch the places of the DDTs and the foremost pair of HPZs?

See if you can make it invertible, maybe using a shorter chassis and Vlad or Granny wheels would help. For the weapons, Sais (aka Robot X Swords) are better than Vlad Spikes, and I think using 90 degree axles would sweep wedges away easier.

My bot is capable of beating Fallen Hero so I think I have a shot at Somebody. What I don't trust is that my wedge can get under Schizoid's or Terminal Force's.

TO THE CORNER WITH YOU!
OK enough of this weapon discussion, back on topic (hopefully Badnik can deal with that IP address problem so Waffles can post another bot).

Saberteeth looks nice, but is using 3mm titanium wise? I would switch to 5mm plastic and see if you can use razors. and sorry, but I've already taken Erectus: (Image removed from quote.) It was essentially supposed to be an Erectus-clone, but at the same time a suggestion on how to improve the design.

razor are fine for the shell spinner.
This I agree on, but just because your bot has more weapon weight doesn't mean its weapon is always going to outlast your opponent's.

First solo tourney win ever! Too bad I don't get a prize for all of that though. Nice match Somebody, it kept me on edge the whole way through, and great tournament everyone!

Oh hey Wings! Well that's a good way for a top builder to make his BBEANS debut. [/sarcasm]. Good match Somebody, but I'm still going to pwn you in the BTTB final.
And it looks like I was right about my flipper theory. Now hopefully CGS!'s weaponry won't cause Ice Tornado trouble.
