I'm not good with celebrity trivia so I can't name names, but here are the personalities that I like:
The Pit Reporter should be someone genuinely inquisitive about robots, who understands that it's their job to be the straight man\woman
The commentators should be one comedian and one expert, like Ahmet Zappa & Dan Dancknick on Robotica

Actually now that we've both submitted, I'm cool with spilling my choices; Bloody Murder Weapon, Victor, and Thor's Hammer

One of the Vlads - I forget which - is still alive under new ownership. I'd bet my life he's going to be there.

Hmm interesting name. I thought all the bots would have alliterative names.

The "reality" aspect makes me uneasy, as if it's going to be 90% manufactured drama and the actual battles as an afterthought.

Mine too, I'll change my vote to yes.

Place the component anywhere and then use BEF'ing to move it to the right location. Refer to 123STW's diagram you just change the rent component number, parent matching point, and child matching point to whatever you want, and you can make an infinite chain

Kids, play nice. It's not like I copyrighted the idea, and neither RTB or Cruella were in my version so we've got the beginnings of an original spread. Plus it was almost 4 years ago that I did mine.

Thanks guys. Badnik, please pm me about circle tool.
EDIT: Oh do you mean about the wheel texture skin?
I think he means drawing real circles in MS Paint. I'm assuming that the warping was caused by resizing the chassis. Did you actually do the BFE'ing yourself?

Bot Ugly. I'm quite happy with how this one looks and acts just like the real one. I've taken a couple of burst pistons and set their power level down to .000000001 so that the jaws come together really slowly. The eye-pods are made from the chassis of that odd DSL bot Cleprachaun.

Ooh, I like it. Can it flip from either way up?

Yes, this thing happened to me when the dimensions were too big for my screen, or when I tried using a custom resolution.

Have you tried changing the resolution within the cfg file?

Not too bad. What I like to do for see-through textures is to make pieces overlap with one-another and then use the Outline Object tool (it's in this pack, but you only need to install the Outline Object tool by itself http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=7291) to create the illusion of depth. Then, put a transparent-grey square on top of everything to make itr look like it's covered in polycarb.

@ Craaig, thanks for putting the thread where it probably belongs. I didn't really know where to put it! =P
@ Hobo, I would definitely do a tutorial if that would help my channel. Unfortunately, the type of audience I have would respond much more positively to the video in the style that it's currently presented in. I've already heard from someone who has watched the video and started playing the game again. =) At the end of the day, I try to both entertain my audience and get them interested in the game. Though I don't go in-depth about how to do it, I do mention at one point that if anyone wanted some tips, I would be happy to give them.
@ Lemonism, Glad you enjoyed it! That's exactly why I created it, and I hope that I can convert those who may not have heard of the game before.
I think you did pretty good on that regard. Some people would tell you to dive right into a Starcore AI pack, but I think the Stock AI has much more personality, which makes for much better entertainment.

Sent my entries. They're a secret, so I'm trusting you to keep your lips sealed, 'zooki.

JD, I don't want to be tactless, but you've never run a tournament before, why do you keep thinking you know best? You're setting yourself up to have as few as five other people taking part, is that what you want?
To be honest, you've only made two that actually conform to the theme - "I Saw U" looks nothing like its predecessor, and Tees Rager, I don't even know what that's supposed to be.

Having only 24 entry slots and making it so 1/6 of the entries are yours is kind of dumb IMO.
Anybody else can enter 4 bots too
Thank you.
I hope you're going to relinquish some of your spots if you get enough entries. It is not normal for the host to enter 4 bots.

It's all right. The real Drillzilla was really wide, and the claw arms were painted a different colour than the rest of the body.

It's a good paintjob for MS Paint but the bot is way too tall, you can change the height with BFEing and if the height is the only change you make to the chassis, it'll still show up in high quality graphics.
