16 if you havnt hosted a tourney before or if you chickened out and if cba to change the botlab background you could try making a splash like this with the cropped bots in the botgarage and a background info etc around it just try to stay away from splashes like this where theres a whole crap ton of grey space/you can see the background because that honestly doesnt look too good (imo anyway)

aw yeah unrealistic and splash making is pretty easy, just replace the botlab background with a solid color (its in batsuit.tga in /ui/botlab i think) and delete the area with the wand tool and put it on a pretty picture or a gradient with the bot name and builder like so [/shameless plug] also is MV you on the tourney history list ? cuz you cant have 32 entries if you havnt hosted a tourney before

I'm a bit skeptical as to how you've attached the Snapper2s there, I'd have thought you could have attached them to the baseplate.
they are, the drive just intersects them
Really? It looks like they're angled forwards quite a lot. You could get the 6WD setup with only one SnapperII, though, so that would save you a bit of weight for something else.
the snappers holding the drive are ever so slightly off in that pic and ill try that one snapper setup

thanks unfortunately this swerves to the left/right (cant remember) so its not the best

now does reskinning them replace the original paintjob or can you custom skin each thing without effecting the rest of your bots

Humm maybe the solution is to significantly increase the hitpoints for chassis armor while decreasing the HP of motors, so ppl have incentive to actually keep them inside the chassis.
Also maybe converting all weapons into concussion, which will block off bot types like "SnS" and "Popups". Damage will be much more momentum based like in real robot combats, not thousands of little spikes scrapping the target.
What do you guys think? Would you guys like a mod like that?
Sounds pretty good to me. If it were possible to do something about the "lots of weapons at the same time do more damage than one" thing that RA2 does, that would also be fantastic, but since it's part of the .exe, it's just a pipedream for now.
Should just ban weapon stacking.....
but thatll just bring up the "olol weld rule" excuse
DSL enforce no stacking in alot of things (ex batteries, motors). What part of no weapons can share the same collision box with another weapon is hard to understand?
the part that made everyone start making stacked flippers popups and hs apparently

I'm not sure about Showcases or Tourneys either, because there are members like MNB and kill343gs who don't showcase stuff or enter tournaments (bar Ironbot), but are still very much deserving of a Wiki page, I reckon.
well they DID contribute at one point, so they're fine besides i was thinking a low number like 5 for showcase pages and still no opinion on "inactive user" box ?

What would these guidelines be ? I would suggest time active on the site and maybe post count
i was probably going to base it off having a showcase with x amount of pages and entering y tourneys but post count isnt really that important, because if you only had 2 posts and entered 10 tourneys, you still might be worthy of a page but i haven't decided yet

dp but its important
so my internet decided to be nice, and by "nice" i mean it took me a bit more than an hour to upload a 45 mb vid but i digress
gj to the winner, adding to rankings once both parties see it/this is locked

hey guise should i put a thing on every inactive user's page that they're retired or is it not really not important enough for the wiki ?
also no more user pages are being made atm until i set up some guidelines to have one, i.e. requirements to prove that you have "earned" the right to one so we dont have 5642893 pages for noncontributing members that spend 99% of their time in junkyard and newbies with like 50 posts (this doesnt prevent you from making an account and creating your own however)

wait it uses 3ds max, the 3d program ra2 uses ? does that mean you could (theoretically) try to import stuff from revolt into ra2 ?
