Yeah that happens with most servos. Usually it's an annoyance. But there's probably some way to take advantage of it. if you watch some of the matches with in GUMBA with mads bot, it sometimes piston glitches like that.

Starcore, i know you havent been here for a while, but System32 is not very respected in this community for his bot building skills, and you shouldn't take his words to heart too much.
making an AI pack is your decision. if you want to, finish it. we would all very much appreciate it. on the other hand, it sounds like its becoming a chore for you to do so. if it's no fun for you to finish, then don't. there's no point in making a pack if you dont want to.

If a good vet was smart like all of us "noobs", then the good vet would have started working on their bot when the tourney was announced nearly 2 months ago, and had gotten it in to secure their spot. I spent a month on my bot. It takes nearly 5 minutes of loading to get into the bot lab to look at it. It took me nearly a month and around 7 or 8 revisions, and it was done before registration opened. If a "good vet" really wanted to be in this tourney, then a "good vet" would have built their bot earlier, knowing that it is a prestigious tourney. That it has always been allowed for everybody to compete. That there has been more and more users on the forums lately.
This is not the Olympics. This is a game.
This is not a real life tourney, it is a game.
And in this game, the rules are different than a real life tourney.
Any good vet who didn't get their bot in. It is their fault. They were slow in getting their bot in, and they lost out. It is nobody's fault but theirs. And those "good vet"s or others who didn't make it in need to suck it up and accept that they were too slow. Guys, you had two months. Not working on it during that time is like asking to not compete.
[/end rant at the rant] well,but the deadline isnt up yet, is it? when you do homework for school, do you turn it in 2 months early? or the due date? soccer is a game. it's in the olympics. Urjak- vets simply mean being around for a long time. a lot of vets are not good at DSL because they are not interested in a game where the only thing that counts is a good wedge. if you notice, most vets have tried dsl. they dropped it because of 'the wedge'.

And also, who ever suggested that vets get top priority in entrants needs to think. This would allow for better fights, but think of what might happen in an all vet tournament. You might get the same champ many times in a row, the new players would be denied any chance, and soon would defeat the the reason why to host a tournament. no, it is you who needs to think. for one, new players have the same chance if one vet is in the ring or if its all vets. doesn't matter. the same champ many times in a row? what the  ? if it's all vets, there would be less of a chance of that happening. And now to relate to real tournaments in real life. This is the most prestigious tournament on the forum. If it were in real life, you woul have to be invited to something like this, and the only way to do that would be to get attention from winning smaller tourneys. do you think noobs at a sport can just join the olympic team in the olympics? just cause they feel like it? NO. they have to work hard for years to even get the chance of being in the olympics. same goes for this tournament. vets have been around much longer and are much better at this game. why should the people who have much less expeiriance at the game even be allowed to compete when the good builders are spending time making good bots? the deadline was march 31st. thats when people planned. a good vet, unless they have a bot ready and made, will spend all the time he can on a good bot for BBEANS. We don't want to watch SFTW fights! sure, it's funny the first time, but it gets old. we need epic, cool, fun-to-watch fights where you dont know whats gonna happen. [/rant].

servos? cmon...but nice. just wish it was w i d e r. i used the chassis and setup from the old bot... this thing is like a year old and i just redid the weaponry haha. yea wider would be better.

 didnt feel like doing a good job on the splash :P the text should be a lot better but i waz lazy. remake of an old bot i never showcased. it works ok, but definitely not my best bot. still, i havent seen any FS/rammer hybrids before, so that aspect is cool.
