My predictions for the following match winners: Tempus Fugit Alter Ego II K.Y.A.R.A. Sonic Boom 2 Hot Dog
On a side note: I was originally going to enter at the last minute, but seeing how my entry would be a VS in a tourney consisting of 5/8 HS, I'm glad Scrap beat me to signups.
Remember that ZodiaK was able to beat Pillar of Fire.

He wasn't taking about spikes facing down.
Instead of having your extenders like O O,
have them attached like O ||
so you can have 3 spikes per tribar end.
Also HPZ drive matters when your bot is AI'ed, and the wedges can also benefit from the speed.

Though you have to admit that this is much better.
You still have weight for HPZ drive, and your wedges are uneven. You might even want to add a third set of spikes on the tribars with the free weight.

Eeh... pinks are useless on HWs. Try to give it Supervolts and a faster drive. Also, 6 irons is way too much for a RAD to handle. Try cloning this instead:

perms don't fit, and the body would be to tall :/
Make the whole bot bigger then. You can use Taz wheels (which I think would be more appropriate for the bot). XD

Shorter chassis, use a Perm for the weapon motor, and add small beater bars to the drum. :P

Kewl. Did you recycle parts from SirK?

Actually, you don't need such long arms for the popup. You want to try to have the center of gravity somewhere near the front, to keep the wedges effective.
As for the question about VSes, well that depends on what kind of VS you're trying to build. There are VSes which have small weapon radii to continuously gut-rip undersides, and there are VS which have large weapon radii (like Heaven's Sawmill) to throw bots OOTA. VSes tend to have wedges to feed bots to the spinners, and Heaven's Sawmill just extended that connection using plows. It also doubled its flinging power by chaining motors. As you can see it only has 2 discs while having 4 motors, but that means one disc can be powered by 2 motors. But that also means that it will have a longer spinup time, but it's all worth it when you see bots flying away. Also, probably the most important aspect that you should take in mind when building VSes is stability. Which is why a lot of VSes tend to have a wide stance. :D

Size matters. :P

Badnik's. Same reason why Hyperbola 2 lost to doomaster's HS in Doomed Bots. D:

And it's those kinds of HSes that will be my main downfall. x_x

Ooh. Eager learner is eager. :P
To make an uber-spinner (in this case a 36HS), you need an itty-bitty chassis (no more than 34 or 58 kg, depending on the weapon setup), 2 Snapper IIs (you can get them from the Combo AI + SZ pack in the Downloads section), 2 blacks (they have to be stacked to fit inside the small chassis), 2 HPZs for drive, 4 HPZs for weapons, and 36 irons/maces. Whether you have to stack snappers or not depends on the chassis size and motor setup. Try snooping around some showcases here for 36HSes and you can see how compact the chassis should be. :D

I don't think that's the setup. His drive is uneven and his stuff are centered relative to the chassis. Sage could probably figure it out. XD

You can still add 2 razors on the right DDT. :P
But it's actually quite nice, though you can shift the Snapper2 (or whatever motor's holding the middle wedge) slightly forward, so it's at the side wedges' length. You can spend the extra weight by removing the spike strip system and place 2 DDTs in front of the ones you already have, and probably fit 5 razors onto each DDT. If you still have extra weight, well that depends on how much you're left with. Just show us what you can come up with. :D

Lawl. 10 out of 15 entries are HSes.
I wonder what SC did to the new TF.

What were you trying to put on the servo?

? That's one of the setups I remember that makes the wheels uneven. :P

Hahaha I remember how you mounted the drive! :P

You could probably remove the halfsheet and use a metal hinge wedge. But I don't know whether a wedge can be beneficial at that speed or not. :D
