Just wondering, is there a better version of Chaos 2 or FireStorm than there is in the DSL 2.1 pack? If so, where can I get it?
Wham's Robot Wars AI pack has a fantastic Chaos 2. His Firestorm is also awesome, but is maybe a little too powerful.

Tried to download it - says the file's not found.
I've got it. I can upload it.

I'm disappointed to see that they're both plain boxes - when I saw the title I was hoping for something a little cooler than a black box and a white circle.
Gonna side with you on this they both look pretty plain. Hopefully the flipper he builds will look cool

There's a guy in England with a robot pretty similar to mine, his is called Mecha Sombra and has decals of Sombra's eyes on top. He's now planning a flipper called Eclipse with Luna stuff on it.
Pls post pics

Friendly reminder that DSL 3 has been in development for almost six years now, and the only form of a release is the one beta with no AI or replica parts.
you know, we could make our own AI pack... sure, components would be limited, but for the time being... EDIT: Weren't there already people building a DSL 3 version of the AI?

oh thank god yes
so is this out already and im just not seeing it or what because ive been seeing a lot of dsl3 bots in the showcase
also how long before you're done with your mod boss man? i appreciate it up the max
there's a beta. but so far, production has been slow and unless Click has been secretly working on it tirelessly, i doubt we'll be seeing it this year.

see this is why i put up dsl 2.1.1 and nobody seems to be acknowledging it's existance
Evidently you didn't publicise it enough as this is the first time I've heard of it.
I made a thread about, I think I put it out before you came back. see this is why i put up dsl 2.1.1 and nobody seems to be acknowledging it's existance
Shouldn't it be dsl 2.11 or dsl 2.2?
Click himself stated that he'd like it to be called 2.1.1 since it doesn't change any core gameplay mechanics see this is why i put up dsl 2.1.1 and nobody seems to be acknowledging it's existance
Where is this, and what does it fix?
It is a modernized. Up to date DSL. It features updated flipper AI, pre-installed narmour, DSL-ified alternate bots (Barbershop Chop, Spin Bonker etc.), fixed the firestorm flipper problem, trov' action cam pre installed, the BBEANS arenas also pre installed and that's about it. It's mostly catered for new players so they don't have to go through the hassle of looking for these individual mods or text editing themselves.

electric hammer MW not terribly happy with the way it looks right now. might make the nose point out more and change the axe, but for now i guess it's alright. also, it was based off a bot, which i remember seeing but it's name escapes me for the moment. if any of you recognize it would you mind telling me what it's name is/who built it?

I'll replace varjacks disc with the noncheatbot variant.
Lol were you that desperate for combat efficiency that you used some outlawed cheatbot disc? lol
it was only found in cheatbot2 any other disc wouldn't have fit, plus i built this before the tournament was ever in discussion, didn't think any IRL tourney would've used a different ruleset from the Battlebots ones, so i guess that's not making it either

S.H.I.E.L.D. - 5 accepted, 3 rejected.
You can ditch system, I'll replace varjacks disc with the noncheatbot variant. And also, to be fair, swing king's wheels wouldn't really do damage, but eh, you can ditch that too

and you say you are manly?
No, it isn't especially manly music, and no, i don't give a ****.
I don't have to listen to metal all the ****ing time to prove I am a manly man, and manly men have other things to care than if the music they listen to is "MAN APPROVED HURR". "oh my god i'm not going to listen to this because my fellow men may mock me for it even though I like it and i'm going to be SOCIALLY OSTRACIZED ! The horror !" ? Sounds more like a coward's mindset to me.
Get out before you get some bullsh** strawman out of the retardation fountain that is your mouth, Playzooki. Really.
all im saying is eurodance is awful and you are obsessed with 'muh manliness' and 'muh frenchness'
real men wear skirts

Depends what you mean by the innards being realistic.
i think he means, can we have the bot look IRL but the innards not (IE. stacking batteries and other components)
