<Sigh> :ermm: All right now I'm going to try to put a stop to this unnecessary bickering and get this thread back on track.  This is my garage, it's not much since it's still a single story but it's got some good cars in it.  They include two NASCAR stockers (Dale Jr. and Greg Bifle) with one (Brad Keselowski) under construction, an Indy car (Takuma Sato), three custom monster trucks, several restored cars (including a Dodge Deora), a tank, and more.

Just completed the story mode for the first time for the NCR.  Assassinated Caesar in his own camp and took his displacer glove, and then at the Battle of Hoover Dam, showed Legate Lanius no mercy with "Mercy" and blew him to kingdom come.

Sorry I haven't been posting recently.  If you're in college you should know how finals week is, not to mention Thanksgiving break.  I should be posting more robots here soon.

How do you submit a robot for competition?  I've yet to enter a tournament and I'm hoping to enter in the New Blood tourney.

Next robot in this garage is another that is based on a car from Twisted Metal, Death Warrant.  Death Warrant is a Mortis styled heavyweight with it's ax and flipper combination.  Death Warrant's strengths are it's devastating weaponry that can either send an opponent airborne or punch a hole in them, it's low ground clearance, and it has an average top speed.  Weaknesses:  Slow to turn, getting high centered on ramps, and Critical Emergency (always goes around to the back of Death Warrant for some reason).

This happened in the same fight against Backyard Shredder and he went and pulled an Anklebiter!  Has anyone had this happen with that robot before?

My next robot is the DSL counterpart of probably the most infamous robot I ever built in Stock, Toxic Terror.  Toxic Terror is a four-wheel drive wedge with an extremely powerful flipper lined with spike strips.  With the front titanium skirt set up it has, it can easily slide under any opponent and send them flying.  Strengths: Powerful flipper, great pushing power, good armor, low ground clearance, easy to self-right.  Weaknesses: getting high-centered, spinning drums, and deathpits.

The original Toxic Terror.  Made many robots, including Emergency, rack up many frequent flyer miles.

Here's my next robot, coming in at WAY over the speed limit, is my second lightweight here, Hot Rod.  Hot Rod is a rammer that runs on four Astroflight motors and has 3 pole spikes up front.  It is fast and highly maneuverable, a powerful pusher, and can run either way up.  It's weaknesses are it's thin armor and it's exposed wheels.

Change those Pole spikes into Irons.

Thanks for the tip.  I had those pole spikes because I thought the iron ones would make Hot Rod front heavy.

All robots destroyed courtesy of Hot Rod.  Only damage taken was from Insane Berserker when I backed into him.

For the same reasons, Dr. Demolition can now make house calls on your copy of DSL RA2.  Look for him in the Middleweights!

EDIT: For whatever reason the doc wound up in the stock files. -_- Don't know why.   Unless he's moved into the proper files,  that's where you'll find Dr. Demolition.

Because of Hurripain's good reception by the GTM community, I've decided to upload Hurripain to the BotExchange.  Look for it in the Heavyweights!

you'll see that the weaponry starts in the closed position. That means you only have to fire them once to open them, then they clamp as they retract
Does that type of clamp actually clamp? I was interested in that before but didn't want to try in case it didn't work.

Do the bottom jaws fire on Speed Clamp or are they immobile? If they don't move, use skirt hinges to attatch them if you want combat efficiency (they look kinda ugly when they stick out) being 30kg lighter than a mag snapper, but if you just want it to look awesome over efficiency, hit me.

The bottom jaws do move on Speed Trap 2

Thanks for the feedback! Anyway here is my next robot, Speed Trap 2.  ST 2 is a 4WD robot with it's main weapon being a massive set of jaws, it's ready to catch any speeding heavyweights.  It's strengths are it has incredible pushing power, low ground clearance, it's very fast and maneuverable, good armor, and effective weaponry.  Speed Trap 2's weaknesses are that it is smaller than most heavyweights, although effective; the jaws don't cause too much damage, and it can't self right.

This is the original Speed Trap.  It was one of the first robots I built when I first started playing RA2.  It was a dominant force in the arena for it's time.

A storm warning has been issued for the Battlebox.  Be prepared for gale force speeds and high levels of destruction, mainly to your robot!  Here is my next heavyweight, Hurripain!  Hurripain is a spinner that was inspired by the Battlebots Super Heavyweight Swirlee.  It has a decent speed, low ground clearance, is invertable thanks to the top and bottom drive systems, and is very destructive.  Only weaknesses are it not a good pusher and it's smaller than most heavyweights.

A bit of an oops moment while I was testing out Hurripain with different spinner weaponry.  Has anyone else knocked over one of those cabinets?

Dr. Demolition's back from surgery and all problems have been fixed.  Thanks for the help.

A little victory dance I discovered that the doc can pull off thanks to it's drum.

Scrubbed up and prepped for surgery, here's my next middleweight, Dr. Demolition.  Coming from the same team as Enforcer, Dr. Demolition is ready to perform a robo-autopsy with it's deadly spinning drum.  It has average armor and is invertable.  Weaknesses are it's not a fan of FBSs and it's low ground clearance has worked against it and has gotten high-centered on ramps before.

Reason for the counterweight is that before hand, the Perm 80 motor caused the Doctor to pull to the right.

Anyone remember this from the Fall 2010 Bristol race?  This is also one of the reasons Keselowski is one of my favorite drivers.
