Your bot is pretty damaging. It could easily surprise people. All while looking cool.

Signups are 1 week in, and VB and 090901 are accepted and AI'd. 12 in, 12 left :)

I've always allowed my specifications to be hybridised in BTTB, I've even been asked about it regarding this tournament, so I think I'm bound by my rules to accept it.

527
Thrackerzod and Sage's bots have been accepted and AI'd.

The point of this tournament is to get both heavily stock and heavily DSL builders to enter.

The idea is this: each competitor will build a stock and DSL bot. Whatever the weight of one robot is subtracted from 1200 is the maximum weight of the other (DSL-stock multibot under 1200 Kgs, DSL robot can be standard or IRL despite the fact that you're much better off going with standard). Once all competitors are entered, the stock bots will fight first. However, the stock fights will only be twenty-five seconds each. If there is no KO, the DSL bots will fight a standard, three minute match. If there is a KO in the stock class, the DSL bots will not fight. This allows you to really stratagize. Do you want to obliterate your opponent in the stock class so there's no chance for them in the DSL class? Do you want to hope that you survive the destruction in stock so you can get revenge in the DSL class? Do you want to make your robots evenly matched? It's entirely up to you.

Rules
-Stock/DSL HW multibot (see above)
-Minimum weight for each bot is 175 Kgs
-Multibots (per division) are not allowed.
-25 second stock matches first, then three minute DSL matches if there is no KO in the stock portion of the match.
-Usual glitches are allowed in stock, but BFE, AAM, Hax Mode etc. are not allowed.
-I can AI, although it's preferred that you do it yourself (that being said, no cheaty AIs). If I AI your robot, you may not complain about any AI errors unless I have made an obvious mistake.
-Cheatbot2 and custom components are not allowed. In stock only, you may use the blue snapper and 140cm extenders.
-Robots without controlled movement are banned. Both your stock and DSL bots must have two powered wheels driving the robot fast enough that the robot could not be immobilized on its own.
-1v1 (person) single elimination.
-8 people can enter.
-Arena will be a the Compactor Arena for stock and the Electric Arena 2 for DSL (both with hazards off).
-Any game-altering havoks (I will judge what "game-altering" is) will be reset if they only happen once. Any robot causing this twice is automatically eliminated.
-Winner gets an automatic spot in my next tournament and top 2 will be the first to try my AI pack.
-G.K. gets a free spot if he wishes since he won my last tournament.
-I will not be entering.
-It is preferred you have some sort of (appropriate) theme and team name. You don't have to, but if you don't, I'll give you one.

SIGNUPS:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
(Blue=received, Green=Ready, Red=problem)

These are the rules, they cannot change. This is now a signups topic, and you have 3 months to complete the tournament.

Also, I'd like to use my guaranteed entry to reserve me a spot in the tourney - I'll hopefully have bots to you soon.

Just before I move this across, I've got a couple of questions:

-Are we allowed to create multibots in each divison?
-I assume the usual building glitches are allowed in stock?

I guess you could create a minimum weight limit for both bots?

In terms of the green tick, just let me know once you're happy and I can move it to signups for you

Did my first ASAS stack - not that it should be impressive to anybody else - an SII in a black:

Then made a LW HS:

The problem with this is that it's too compact. Child's Play IV can hit around the ramplate and take of the RAD's. Looks like plows are better used in this bot type. Downgrading would give me another 4kg of extenders (and I've currently got another 20cm on there doing nothing but taking up weight so it's actually 6kg) to try and use to get the drive to be a bit wider. Any thoughts? Alternately I could go down the weapon breaker route?

Also, I'm not sure if the RAD's being attached with the axles inward is a problem or not - should I be looking to swap them around?

I absolutely love everything people have built for this tournament. I'm going to be really distracted while filming because the bots are all SO GODDAMN GOOD-LOOKING.

Thinking about ways to lose 14 kg for the razors - what's your extender work like for attaching the DDTs to the snappers?

A couple of other suggestions - attach the razors with 2 extenders rather than 3 - though I know this will mean they are more spread out, and if the bot is wide enough, maybe lose the lowest outer casters?

Pwn:

http://www.solidfiles.com/d/a384a6d301/movepixel_beta.rar

I also included an edited version that uses the WASD keys instead of the defaults for laptops like mine that don't have the default END/DEL/PGDOWN/HOME setup.

e: Also there's this one sage made.
https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/movepixelSAGEMOD.zip
For all of those who don't have any of the keys that NC is using (like, say, on an old macbook pro) i modded the file to use UHJK instead (which should be on everyones keyboard). Heres the commands:

ALT+Enter - click mouse button
SHIFT+H - rotate counter-clockwise
SHIFT+K - rotate clockwise
CTRL+U - move component up
CTRL+J - move component down
ALT+U - move cursor one pixel up
ALT+J - move cursor one pixel down
ALT+H - move cursor one pixel left
ALT+K - move cursor one pixel right

Really nice.

Maybe pull the top plate back one more notch for the wedges? They look a little steep to me, though it could just be my eyes and that angle.
