Off-Topic Discussion / Re: iTunes rant, worst software ever?

Save your library and uninstall/reinstall iTunes. That could help. Also try turning off any features you don't use, such as AirTunes and Smart Playlists.

looks shopped (ae'd?)
The only editing was adding musics and the still photo at the end.

Instead of reinstalling RA2, I decided to build something in the physical world.

Well, congratulations, "blue bar"... You have now made it impossible for me to load the forum from my home computer. I tried ten or more times to try to get the forum to load, but had no success.

This is what pisses me off about sites these days. They are all filled with so much sh** that it makes a page that should be simple impossible to open for people without the luxury of a high speed connection.

Here is a good example... Recently I was wanting to apply for a job at my local Walmart. They told me that you have to apply online. I thought "No problem", but when I went to apply, I couldn't get the ****ing site to load.

Get a better computer/internet connection.

Make it work across the whole site and not just the main page.

Deadman's Reach black coffee brewed in my red Bodum press pot. It's for the kids.

Random things that give you Nostalgia of better times.

For me, it's the 2004 coca cola football bottle. You know, the one which was shaped like a sphere?
Nostalgia over 2004? You kids are too young!

IPv4 exhaustion is old news.

What happens? A switch to IPv6, as it should have happened a long time ago.
In fact, I think you already told these kids about that in the not-too-distant past.

I love this show! It does a good job of mixing dark humor with absurd quirkiness.

Your history is all wrong. DSL was widely accepted on the old official forums. The "civil war" was between the RA community and the AceUplink community. I sided with the official forums.

Has anyone got RA2 to work on a Mac, without using Bootcamp?

I know it doesn't work with Wine, but there must be other ways. Like Crossover or VMware. But my sister can't seem to get it running.

Any help, please?
The problem with virtual machines is that they simply can't use your system to its full potential. The Mac has to dedicate a certain amount of resources to running OS X (including Finder, Spotlight, Dashboard, and other things that run in the background), and an additional amount to run the virtualization app itself. Booting up Windows with Bootcamp allows your Mac to act as an ordinary PC. So just do that.
