I'm pretty surprised that Heaven's Sawmill and Bumblebee lost. I'll post my predictions soon for round 3.

The lower the seed you get out of the 4, the worse you're expected to do?

Yeah I think that the tourney should just start with 8 people. It's taken forever to just get 8, imagine doubling that.

I'm overwhelmed from my bots aggression. Keep it that way next time too, it was great :D

Well I was going to remove a castor since one of them was making it a little tipsy, but I fixed that by moving the HPZs downward just a bit so that castor wouldn't touch the ground. 529 Chatterbox / Favorite Sammich« on: May 18, 2009, 08:11:04 PM »Quote from: Sage;39531 A wish sandwich. Much better than the first Sequoia Throne. More stable, better weaponry, and also castor armored. I highly doubt I can shed another 1.9 kg's for Slipper Bottoms. Also the first bot I created which uses the snapper loading glitch. 531 DSL TC Showcases / MikeNCR's Bots« on: May 15, 2009, 11:58:44 PM »
I like the top bot. It looks original. I'm assuming the bot climbs the wedges and the side bars keep it inside while the disc gut rips?

No, for protection against Pop-ups, and what do you mean you don't have space for it, castors attach to the belly of the bot, no need to raise them for front protection.

Add a castor or two with the extra weight.

Changing the Iron Spikes to Maces would make the weapons closer so all the hits are done in massive single blows, like you did with OO4.

That's actually pretty good. I wonder why I never thought of that.

One Nifty is enough for a LW Spinner. Use Maces, Iron Spikes, or Razor Tips. Stronger weapon motor. Shiny Hubs. Shrink Chassis. 537 Stock Showcases / Sage's Showcase« on: May 12, 2009, 07:48:56 PM »
Yeah I went crazy when I saw the protection until I saw that it had 3 extenders per tribar. Either way it's not like I can building something better anytime soon And yeah SB I think it's better that way with maces since maces are so large. 538 Stock Showcases / Alterer's Showcase« on: May 12, 2009, 01:34:15 PM »
Way too high. 6 pixels high is enough. Better drive and defense wouldn't hurt either.

1st time I've done predictions. Vela: Magnum uses way too many razors, which will get ripped off from 24 maces. Surgical Strike: I'm confident in Surgical Strike's abilities after its last win. Spearhead will get gut-ripped since it has no wedges. Hell Bringer: Despite fighting a Horizontal Spinner, I think Hell Bringer will win. Grinnin Face has very high tribars. Hell Bringer will inch its way under it and gut-rip it to death, just like it did to Anti Christ. R4: Just like SS vs T-800, except this time the odds are favored more in the pop-up's hands. No Hype 5: Apparently Sandstorm has very bad wedges. No Hype 5 will get under it and gut-rip it. Copyright Infringement: HS with many weapons vs two Middle Weights. Bounty Hunter: ... Consonant / Vowel: SD told me that Cocytus had pretty bad wedges, plus it seems pretty hard to juggle two bots at once. Seism 13: If Seism can do it once, it can do it again. Heaven's Sawmill: Click probably has good wedges. Pita 8: Bad HS vs good Pop-up. Absolute Chaos: Ouch. Bumble Bee: Bumble Bee crawls over TBP and then kills it in seconds. Shadow Tyrant: Would of been different if Vetearn Destroyer had wedges. Crawl Through Knives: Pretty tough for Stratocaster to beat CTK since SC is meant to ram. Stratocaster will run up Crawl Through Knive's wedge and get gut-ripped. Death Dealer: Once Mjorhmei tips over or loses a snowplow, it will probably backflip out of the arena. 540 Stock Showcases / Re: 40757's Showcase II« on: May 11, 2009, 02:07:10 PM »
It's only like 2 cm closer, not much at all. If anything, having a better wedge surpasses a weapon that's slightly closer together, which also gives the motors protection in the chassis.
