Ziggy is from Canada.
Which is in North America :trollface

In America, out arenas aren't OOTA'ble so people who are balsy enough to go for a flipper design go all out. Take Ziggy for example.

I think that a bot like Toro looks cooler than Iron Awe, but Iron Awe is more effective by a long shot. Toro style throws upwards, Iron Awe throws bots farther away to get them over guardrails and stuff.
Technically speaking though, would it be more efficient to have a arm go vertically up with little change, than a huge sheet that travels in a more circular motion. You'd have more force, speed, and less drag.

I'm not too keen on the American flipper designs

I prefer a wedge design, which do seem to work better IMO
Yeah, I never really got a hold on why American flipper designs are more boxy compared to the UK's.
Probably for more dedicated surface area to the robot itself and protecting the internals.

Yes it is, they hacked it to do that. If you search youtube you can see so many developers interpreting the Kinect in so many different ways. Microsoft may not officially do what more ambitious developers are doing with it, but they can sure learn from them.

But the purpose of the 'Fabricate Yourself' thing is? It doesn't make realistic human models, plus it's a lot like those '3D Pin Art' things, where you can make the pins form roughly your hand. So, the question is, WHY PAY £150 (or so) FOR IT?

Also, Forza 4 FTW!
There are better Kinect model hacks, there is a bunch of other cool hacks aswell. I was just demonstrating the fact that the Kinect has more uses and power compared to its competitors.

I don't think you can't compare those two movies. They're completely different.
Well Super 8 is kinda like the Goonies though, but with a giant alien.

Katamari Damaci

Man I love that game so much.

Anyways who would say what looks better PSVita or 3DS?
PSVita, Doesn't look rushed and has excellent hardware compared to the 3Ds.

lol why do you have to do the "**" things whenever someone annoys you?

Anyway, I feel that Kinect is not going to get better despite what Mircosoft will try to make it better.
Come back to me when you see a "wii mote" do this...

I really hate the current trend of color pallets consisting only of brown, gunmetal, and lens flare. Video games are a visual medium. Excite my eyes with some color!

Jesus Christ RR, why do you think you know everything about electronics?
Because that is what I go to college for.

The Wii System is to blame. I think they KNEW developers were going to be hindered by the motion sensing controls. They screwed up. They need to add OPTIONS for regular controls and motion sensing. Another thing to blame is lack of good hardware. We are in the Twenty First Century... everyone is using accelerometers, gyroscopes, and bluetooth fore controls (Even before the iPhone 4) and they went with INFRARED, if you look at a EM Radiation scale you will see that Infrared is a long wave... those are the EASIEST to block. That is why TV's are so devastatingly bad. Infrared Sensors are pushing twenty years old. The OG Wii should have been what the Wii U is sans the peripherals. Then on the side add in Motion Sensing gaming and Tablet Gaming. The real losers here are the developers.

Halo 4: Hope it's fun, wished Bungie was on board though
Call Of Duty: Teenagers will buy this game anyway Modern Warfare 3: Prime example of corporate greed and unoriginality. Copied Halo:Waypoint and Infinity Ward (Although the better developer) cannot seem to find any other war to recreate so they just keep going with this bullsh**. Treyarch isn't getting away either... their new Call of the Dead map is a complete disappointment (especially when you have to bring Buffy and other career sunken actors into it because your writers SUCK)
Wii U: Has Potential, Seems like Nintendo is playing catch-up with competitors. (They should have made the controller an expansion to the OG Wii/ Wii should have had the better GPU and HD graphics and processing power)
PS Vita: THIS is what real gaming is all about
Kinect: Two Words... OPEN SOURCE... another two words... DEVELOPER KIT
iOS5 (WWDC): Copies almost every single competitor to Apple
Frogger 3D: This I Want...

I have already expressed that those are my personal opinions. If you can't deal with that, then don't post.
There is a fine line between delegating your opinions and hubris
Then there is no need to be a hypocrite, surely?
However, I am NOT trying to demote users or their opinions, if you are so blind that you couldn't see that then you need optic surgery.
BOT.
You were never on topic, just let users post their favorite bands without your criticisms.
