Built something today, gotta skin it up tomorrow then it is ready.  :D

Hope I make the cut though... seems like people are pretty ravenous to enter this tourney.

Can't you download RA2, extract it, put the whole folder on a pocket drive and then give it to your friend to transfer the extracted folder to his/her computer?

It's about time S_M won something.

Maybe he will be in a better mood now.   :p

Why no side mirrors? Is that common for those cars?

So many words...  x.x

Going to build something this time.  Hopefully I can earn a win or two.

You have inspired me NFX.  I never bother to bump up the resolution on the skins.  But that bot looks sooooo slick, I am going to have to do that from now on.

Excellent work!

I am jealous of the framerate in your game recorder.  Which one are you using?

Nice! I <3 Preludes.  Glad to see you are keeping it stock.  When I was shopping for a new car earlier this year, it was impossible to find a decent used Prelude around here that hadn't had some halfassed body kit stapled on or some unnecessary mods done to the engine.  There was a dude here in town that seemed to make a hobby out of ruining Honda Preludes... it made me cry.  I haven't seen him around in a while, which is good.

Very nice car!  :D

Are you going to the paintjob portion of the botlab and choosing export paint template (check on the box that says "export the current chassis texture blah blah")?

Then are you editing that template and saving it to the same folder and importing it back to the bot?

As a test... do an export on a simple template and just add a logo or something with Paint and then import it and see what it does.  That will help determine if it is GIMP's savefile or not.

Click, once again, you have hosted an awesome tournament.  This was incredible to watch and participate in.

Now everyone is going to be drooling in anticipation of BBEANS.  :P

Nary, excellent strategy.  I am really pleased that your bot won.  Congrats and +rep.

Thanks for the comments guys and you are all right. It would be better as a VS.  Unfortunately, the chassis is two clicks above baseline so a vertical Perm 80 will not fit seamlessly in the chassis.

If I mod the current design I think I can VS is by using a piglet, otherwise I gotta rebuild if I want to use a Perm 80.

A lot of the flipper parts (like the Storm 2 arm) have a very wonky collision mesh.  It's very possible to integrate them into the design to make it look like part of the chassis if you are careful not to let them be a base part touching the ground.  Biohazard Arms are really easy to integrate into a chassis design, but they tend to go under the floor if you use them as support pieces for something like a Nightmare style vertical spinner.

IRL Middleweight bot.  Was in a weird building mood today.  Not sure if I will enter it in any tourneys.  Damage capabilities are ok at best.  Drive motors are too zippy and cause most bots to go up and over the wedges without taking much damage from the spinner.  Might tweak it some more, but I gotta get working on something for Groudon's tourney.

Those wheels look like lint-pickup roller thingies.  XD

Doesn't look like an invertible design, that might come back to haunt you.

Otherwise, it looks like it has badass-ery potential in the appearance category.

I had a long week... couldn't sit in front of RA2 for more than five minutes.

Got the weekend off, I will build something before Sunday.  Just gotta figure out what to build.

Tricky was the best, hands down.

I liked playing Mac, sometimes Eddie for the lulz.

The extras on the SSX Tricky disc are fun to watch.  The interviews with the different Voice Actors is a riot (David Arquette, Oliver Platt, etc etc)

The game also introduced me to Biff Naked... and prompted me to buy all her albums.  <3 <3 <3

Quick update.  My computer has officially became a paperweight.  Finally gave up the ghost a few days ago after struggling on it's last limbs for 2 weeks.  I got a loaner from a friend tonight, however, so this is not the end of ITAT.  At least, I hope. This thing is old and slow as crap, (originally came with windows ME, if that gives you an idea) so i'm hoping things will run smoothly enough on it.  Will be testing sometime tomorrow after sleep and band practice.

Thank you all so much for your patience.

Sorry to hear about your computer problems.  That is no fun.  What died on your old compy?

Try not to stress out about it and good luck!

So I got this Steam business and D/L'ed TF2 because what the heck it's free. I'm probably the worst every class in the history of ever :P

Oh, and I can't add any friends for some reason.

I feel your pain. I used to play Counter Strike TF Classic & get my ass handed to me tenfold.  I just couldn't master the split second pinpoint aim that some of my friends could do.

For this reason I have been avoiding TF2.   :P
