That's the trouble with it, we've no way of knowing it's him. But I wanted to mention this earlier in Feedback somewhere, but the thread had been locked, even if it's only hearsay that we're going on, it sets a horrible precedent for other members to pull exactly the same stuff if we're talking about reducing his ban from 2 months to 3 days. If he has been hacking into other users' accounts and using a proxy to circumvent his suspension, then I say strike while the iron's hot and IPban him before he can pull any other idiotic stunts.

IWhat's the bracket wedge for, just out of interest? If it's for invertibility, I can't see it letting the weapons come into play that often.

Well, if your front "arms" are wide enough to fit Z-Teks, then a DDT should slide in there pretty well. If not, then you could widen them inward slightly until it does.

I think the two back plows are a bit pointless. I'd remove them, and perhaps swap to Rubber Wheels, and maybe DDT Wedges if you can shrink the chassis a touch more.

I'm not sure about it being unstable, I'm more concerned that the plow and weapon-breaker will spin round and round uselessly as a result of the torque reaction of the HPZ spinning the weapons around. But this can easily be remedied by mouting the axle pointing forwards instead of upwards, you aren't using the rear-facing AP on the bottom extender for anything. =)

Discussion / Re: RA2 Achievements« on: August 02, 2011, 11:17:00 AM »
I'm in agreement with Joe, partly because of the extra workload, but mostly because there's such a variation of building styles. For instance, if you compare something 123savethewhales builds to something that Sonny_Resetti builds, then they'll both be excellent robots, but in different ways.
In the meantime, here are some more fake achievements. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 5173

That's actually a pretty good idea. I take it it doesn't jump about too much when the weaponry spins?

I don't think so. It's just that as the game has progressed, more and more designs have been "found", so to speak, so the likelihood of finding a design that's different enough to be classed as original is slowly dwindling. But there are still designs out there.

Next step sould be to shrink the chassis around the components. And angle connectors aren't useful for what you're doing, you need Poly Extenders, or aluminium is they keep getting broken.
Another thing you'd want to do is use the IMG tags. It makes it a lot easier and cleaner to read through your showcase. |
