Mike has opted to let the match result stand and not use his restart allowance.
The Final is now officially valid and the tournament completed
Damn it, Mike- you've ruined both of our chances >_<

I wonder what would actually happen when JB submitted his bot in time so I didn't have to enter mine. o_o
I would probably have gotten to the finals, for starters

This sounds fun, now I just need to think of a game to center it around...
This'd be a perfect opportunity for a Soda Popinski-themed bot

I am actually thinking for a birthday in the future, to actually rent one ride or game...
If you do do that however, be sure to send me an invite, old chum :D

What you should do is take the textures from RW:ED, and port them into RA2 (i.e. make it .BMP, 256x256, etc.)
Or at least very similar textures- several of the chassis have rounded bits on them that can't be emulated without components and things.

I am the kind of player who would prefer to make their own robot, that play as one of the pre-existing bots. So from that you should be able to tell why i hate that game so much ;P
Oh, and the judges were morons!
It's a bit of both for me- I like to create robots, yet it's also fun to drive around as the ones from the TV series- Diotoir was a prime example, being able to catch fire and all :3 And indeed- in the words of Chris Sorsby from Team Mortis, I pushed them out, I had all the attacks, and I think I should have won- never mind the fact that Barrabis poked me with its wedge tip.

I can just picture GF, top-hat and tux, stopping random people in the street 'Excuse me, but did you know I'm a damn good looking fellow?'
Might be an idea for the next one, actually- and carrying a rose, too. Mr 'Cams, make a note of that

S_M's new bot is allowed.
Nads.
There's still one spot left. :D
Who said anything about spaces? He's entered with an anti-wedge design, meaning he's going to kill me for certain if I go against him >_<
You could build an anti-anti wedge in case you face me!
Or just rig a self-destruct bomb into my entry for when you catch it. Basic steps- 1) I get set as Player 2 and we fight 2) You get hold of me 3) I click my Small Blue Switch Emoticon 4) Big Boom, vapourising both robots 5) As you are Player 1, you are eliminated first 6) I win fight 7) And do a celebratory Cossack dance 8) Problem, monkeys?

Excellent. But how can a flipper "wear them down"? In throwing them around the arena, both doing slight damage, and allowing you to get in and attack :P Slight is the key word
If there's gonna be a Grudge Match, then I would like to be a part of that. =] I've been waiting two series to get a shot at Fox Boy.
Well it would have to be round robin, no controversial rumbles. What, are you scared of rumbles or something, matey? :D No, I actually thought you would prefer 1 on 1's with your flippers.
1) Indeed, but it's still a fair sight better than the average replica flipper. 2) Either way is fine- it's just that rumbles tend to be more exciting. Yet, I'm OK with 1-on-1 fights, if that's what you want

And for most of the fight, it works well- both times I pretty much dominated my second-round melees (in both cases taking out opponents by flipping them OOTA) , but then ended up getting cherry-tapped by the lucky one you'd least expect to win.
Erm, in our fight I did more work than you did... You just like to think a few flips was "significant". But I don't want some big fight (Replica grudge match much?)
Although I think from what I remember, you and I more wore them down as you took out one, and I got rid of Badnik- then I think Hazard used the damage Purse took from all of the other robots to ultimately KO it. And the idea of a grudge match, eh? Sounds good to me

Or Doctor, whichever you prefer. It's all good with me

I'll make a Pop-Up and theme mine after Gran Turismo 5.
Pop-ups relate to Gran Turismo how...?
Probably a car or something. But I think mine's been the most original so far, wouldn't you agree? :D

GoldenFox, you better have a good reason for not replying to my last PM, or I'll be a tad annoyed >.>
Hang on...I thought I already had? Maybe it's my memory playing tricks on me, but seeing as those are the circumstances, I'll be right back... ...and please, call me Boss :3

OK- I guess yours was the better case to explain role-reversal, really. But even still- even to get to the finals would have been great, even if I didn't win. Even if to make up for lost ground on S_M taking me out. Either one of those would be great- out of all the RW entries I submitted, Purse from Series 2 was the one I had the most trouble with- mainly in selecting a rep and laying its flipper out properly within the weight limit.
Nobody ever said your rep had to be a flipper. I entered horizontal spinners in both Replica Wars that I entered, and I made the finals with both of them. 360 wasn't even invertible. =] Maybe if you branched out with your designs a little bit more, that would help a little.
I didn't say I had to, but I was saying that I more had problems in trying to make the weapon look like the real thing with the weight. And yes, I noticed. Like a reversal of fortune, almost- you came out of nowhere to get to the finals the first two times, whilst I took third in my first one, only to fail in my next two due to getting cherry-tapped at the end.
Maybe flippers aren't that suited to 4-way rumbles. Too much chance of them being taken out from behind. Mind you, I will admit that I had a certain amount of good luck on my side during my run. I think my bad luck comes whenever I end up building a robot with wedges.
Well, it certainly didn't do Vert any harm in Rep Wars, though- that knowledge, combined with my tradition of entering flippers, is what I tend to pin my hopes on. And for most of the fight, it works well- both times I pretty much dominated my second-round melees (in both cases taking out opponents by flipping them OOTA) , but then ended up getting cherry-tapped by the lucky one you'd least expect to win.
