the game.

This will probably overtake ponies in the Memebase here.

For stability, it's recommended to actually use static stuff. Like Panic Attack skirts or flat sheets coming out from the sides. Those can double as wheel protection as well.

...Better?

Wedges are useless when the weapon reach is longer than the wedge reach.

The Skirts are to support the bot, Since it does have some stability problems.

You should aim for a much smaller chasis with the weapon motor mounted extenally, less drive still (astros)
Then you should be able to get 8 razors on there (if you want non flailed) on the smallest black disc
Otherwise wou should be able to get 6 flailing razors (atleast)

EDIT: Try to make something similar to the HS in this video
http://www.wegame.com/watch/ra2tc-heat-1-lw-faceoff/
Bot was wheels are tasty 4, built by NFX

Done that, Now the 'bots drastically changed. It's now T3chn0-M4ncer II, Here is the interior:

A different bot at quite an extent, A whole different chassis, Six flails instead of Four, Can actually beat a lightweight BBEANS Replica (Yu, Or if it even is a BBEANS Robot, Was in the BBEANS team.). And thats pretty much it.

Upgraded drive to Slim and made the Chassis smaller.

Static wedges typically aren't that good. (although sometimes you get lucky like I did with Hangtime II and you can get under stuff) Your best bet to get under stuff is to go with a door hinge wedge (yeah I know it's heavy... But it works well)

I bet of you make the chassis smaller you'd have enough weight for a door hinge wedge.

I think you're a bit inspired by Civil Uprising in the RIOT team in DSL. Take a look around in other peoples showcases for inspiration. You might find something that gives you a good idea.

Edit: PWN you type too fast. Either that or I type too slow. :P

I Actually mixed the inspiration from Civil and added something I saw on another showcase, Think it was "(Something) The Cat II", I Dunno.

A static wedge won't help you much. If you're short on weight, use a skirt hinge. You could still shrink the chassis and get Mags for drive, though.

@ FOTEPX: 'Smallen'? o_O
I Couldn't really be bothered to Get a screeny, But I added a Skirt under the bot to help.

Way too fast, use slimbodies or TWM3R's, make that chassis less tall and smallen it. Also, am I the only one who notices THE RAZORS GO RIGHT THROUGH THE CB!?
I Spun the disc to attach each Razor at an angle, which is why one goes through the CB, Because it Re-Aligns itself.

Oooh Narys not gonna be happy...
DON'T USE PIGLETS FOR DRIVE
Use NPC's instead (On a lw hs? really? Astros!)
Put the CB flat so it doesn't hit the weapons
And NEVER LISTEN TO SPARKEY(AKA sypher) <-Thats just mean.

I Updated before you posted, So I just did it.

Heh, not bad for a first bot
Still...
1.try keeping DSL realistic
2.You can get better drive and shrink the chassis a bit
3.You can also get better wheels, generally we use technos, hypnos, vlads and ant wheels, perhaps others aswell
4.I think you can switch the disk to the 100cm for more AP thus more weapons if weight permits
5.Don't use aluminium or steel apart from certain exeptions
6.Look at other people's showcases, mainly people with coloured names, for ideas and tips
7.I see you're doing it already but make sure to build to the weight limit as high as you can, e.g. you can put a bit more weaponry on there or upgrade the armour a bit

Updated it, Now it has Pigletts for Drive and Weapon and Vlad wheels. Still a little too lazy to update the rest though. But still, It goes faster and is possibly even lighter.

Again, I've updated,

Changed from Pig+Vlad to Granny+NPC, And the armor is now 1mm Titanium.

Oh wait, Also:
D: Can somebody give me a link to Anti-Ballasts? I Feel like making a SHW.
E. I've seen some robots which have overlaid parts (Badnik's Arcade ect.), How do you do this? And is it even legal?
D: in stock, it's how we build. In DSL it's illegal.
Right, But E is the question for the overlaid parts, not D. Anyway, How is it executed?

Well, I'm still pretty new to the forum's level of building. Which means if I build something, It would probably look like a SFTW. Like this:

So yes, I want t ask some questions.
A. How do you change the joint for a part? Like changing from one joint of the RedBird to the back joint.
B. Do you have any tips on buildin HS and VS in stock?
C. Is there an arena creation program which can make the arenas for RA2?

Might try to enter a 'bot which looks like a Cardboard Box. Which I think nobody has thought of yet?
