If I remember one bad thing from this game, it was that f-ing homing missile.  Gah, I hated those things!  I do remember one funny incident with one though when I was racing the police officer. Both of our vehicles were ready to fall apart when he shot a homing missile at me and in response, I shot a ricochet back at it.  My ricochet missed the missile, hit him, and both of our cars were destroyed and we had to finish the race on foot.

Just got done with my biggest Minecraft project to date, my first mob grinder.  Went to heck and back to finish it (went to the Nether for the lava).   Don't know how much cobblestone I used, not to mention the amount I had to when a dang creeper blew it up once while it was under construction. Consists of the usual spawn room and lava grinder followed up by a cactus choke grinder to take care of spiders.

My strategy as the Engineer is to get a dispenser up to level 3 status asap at the back of the battlefield, then right next to it, assemble a level 3 sentry.  I then pack up the dispenser to the front lines where it can be found by my teammates but out of sight of the enemy.  While that's charging, I go back and get the sentry and when it gets to the battlefield, I try to get it in a high place where it has a clear view of the battleground and if possible such as on a cliff or behind a capture point, and if possible, get into a bottleneck where the opposing team has nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.  I also try to keep close to the sentry and plenty of metal on hand, and I can spot spy's very easily so don't even think about sapping my equipment.

You'll see me in there mostly as the red engineer.  Same nametag minus the 24c.  Can't seem to play on multiplayer though.  Every time I try the game basically has a seizure and I get stuck in a corner unable to move.  The Engineer fits my style of fighting and since I'm also from Texas, I just can't help but play as him.

Had this game before.  Don't know where it is now.  Once built a bus for racing!

Keep getting killed in the Nether trying to find a Nether Fortress.  Every time I go into that fiery wasteland I either get killed by falling into lava or getting blasted by a Ghast.

Also eliminated two other legendary creatures beforehand.  First was the Legendary Cazador in Silver Peak Mine.  Killed with Sniper Rifle.  The other was the Legendary Nightstalker in Bloodbourne Cave.  Killed with Knock Knock, a unique fire ax found in Camp Searchlight Firehouse.

god damn it deathclaws are pretty damn tough even at level 30

aka i got owned by an alpha male deathclaw.

i can't wait to fight the legendary one.

Me, Boone, and ED-E already wiped that S.O.B. off the face of the earth. Got a unique grenade machine gun called Mercy out of the deal.  Boone was armored in salvaged NCR Power Armor and was wielding a mini-gun, ED-E had the Followers of the Apocalypse weapons upgrade, and I was wearing Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor and was armed and extremely dangerous with a missle launcher.

Well just completed my first round of Survival Games and the reason I got eliminated was because of some f*ing Creeper sneaking up on me and then blowing me sky high!

Just wondering if anyone else plays this online game.  I have to say it's awesome racing others around the world or smashing up cop cars with them.  If you ever see me there I use the same username as here on GTM and the most common car I'll be driving at the moment is a black 1965 Pontiac GTO with an old school flame job on it.

Adding another robot to the garage, and this one's ready to pummel it's opponents with it's sledgehammer, meet Sudden Impact. Named after the monster truck that was driven by John Seasock,  Sudden Impact is a four wheel drive thwackbot with a wedge up front and it's main weapon, a sledgehammer, on the back.  Sudden Impact's strengths are it's good armor (5mm aluminum), has incredible pushing power, it is very quick and maneuverable, and deliver devastating blows with the sledgehammer when spinning at full tilt.  Weaknesses are it doesn't like FBSs, has a high ground clearance when inverted, and has lost the hammer head before in a fight.

My garage has grown cold from lack of activity so I've decided to turn the heat on with my latest robot, Propane Nightmare.  Propane Nightmare's build is based off of the original Panic Attack but upgraded and also has a flamethrower on board, ready to burn the robot world.  Propane Nightmare's strengths are it's decent armor, strong forklift, extremely low ground clearance, and it's pushing power.  Weaknesses are it cannot self right and it doesn't like spinners.  The inspiration for Propane Nightmare is from when I was playing MotorStorm: Arctic Edge and one of my favorite music tracks on the game is Propane Nightmares by Pendulum (Celldweller remix), and so I took the idea and ran with it.  I also used replicas against Propane to see how it'd fair against them.

Space Junker is ready to send the competition (or what's left of it when it gets done) into a black hole...as long as it doesn't get lost in space itself!

General Support / Flamethrower Issues
« on: November 30, 2012, 07:51:56 PM »
Ok I've been trying to build a robot to showcase on my DSL Garage that supposed to have a flamethrower on it.  In the bot lab it lights up just fine but when I get to the testing area it doesn't (and yes it has a fuel and power source).  Could someone explain what is wrong or what I'm doing wrong?

Why on earth would you drive dakar rally with Supercar? One bump and it's already wrecked.

Ever play any of the MotorStorm games?  Those would offer a good explanation.
I'm big fan of MotorStorm but I haven't seen any supercars in it.

Then you haven't seen MotorStorm: Apocalypse yet.

Superheated Saturnite Fist => gratuitous amounts of fisting, plus it's cool and it sets people on fire.

I got as far as Kenya in the Desert Adventure in my Black Mamba tank.  Where'd everyone else finish?
