You only need 5 ants, use the extra weight gained with better drive motors.
^This or try to use the metal hinge for the wedge, as Craaig said; the wedge isn't the most realistic looking bot in the shed.

I too like the look of it. But yeah, Bat overkill, and that weapon doesn't reach too far, could do with a tad more length in replacement of the batteries. (Some sort of way to flip it back over if inverted might be a good idea also.)

Gotta agree with Lemonism; Don't use the ram plates because in HW competition they'll get ripped off in one hit. Also, The third wedge is unnecessary.
You could possibly replace the hex plates with hollow disks, that way you would increase it's range and also could increase the amount of weaponry on the blades. Other than that, It's pretty good.
Also - which tournament are you thinking of entering this in or is this not the bot you were talking about?

So I've done my LW and MW, just need to make my HW. (I'm not going to bother in the SHW category because I know I'll just fluff something up and get destroyed in 2.5 seconds.) Can't wait for BB9, if it's anything like BB8 than this shall be a cracker to say the least.

Yeah it seems okay most of the time, But I think it's when it loses it's wheel guards that it begins to havok. (I'm guessing because of the low weight.)
