Put them on RADs, and put them so the wheels are in the middle of the bot.1: That's actually a hidden reversible motor. 2: I guess that would make more sense. 3: Aw ![]() 4: Just did that after reading suggestion. 508

Stock Showcases / Re: The Wakkydude Showcase - Update coming soon...« on: August 03, 2011, 02:37:40 PM »Remove the front wheels entirely. The robot will slide along on its front end, and it will be easier to turn. That just didn't work when I tried it. At all. It went even SLOWER than it is now, and was painful to drive. 515

ANOTHER UPDATE:
Yeah, I overcompensated a bit. The casters made it UNDRIVEABLE, so I brought back the front wheels, changed them to shinies, and lowered the battery count to 2. FUN FACT: The only part of this bot that has never been modified is the snappers. 516

I'm going to post screenshots later, but REVISION 2 has 2 MORE BLACK BATTERIES to utilise all the empty chassis size, casters, and the higher power Z-TECS. I'm making a 2nd version to experiment with just how small a chassis I CAN use for this robot.
Full pics and videos coming soon. 518

I'll be able to do all that, but a little question first: Why do people say "make the chassis fit around the components" when it just erases EVERYTHING first? I'll make a separate version to try and shrink it for now.
Also, so I'll have to use casters now? The wheels are only on axle mounts. 519
