True popup? Looks pretty good, I might try and raise the tite sheet a touch, it looks like it's interfering with the wedge at the moment. And you could swap the Shark teeth for LDS teeth. They're bigger and more damaging, so they'll be able to get into play easier than the sharks' teeth will.

Same here. My ideas jar is pretty empty as well, so I've come up with my own RA2 Bot Design Generator. Roll a dice and flip a coin to decide what bot you will build. All I need to do is find a dice. ----Mod---- Heads - Stock Tails - DSL
----Weight Class---- 1 - AW 2 - BW 3 - LW 4 - MW 5 - HW 6 - SHW
----No. Of Wheels---- Heads - Odd Tails - Even
----Weapon Style---- 1 - Static 2 - Burst Motor 3 - Horizontal Spin Motor 4 - Vertical Spin Motor 5 - CO2 Powered (Flamethrower, Poker, etc.) 6 - Flail (Inertia)
----Damage Type---- Heads - Piercing Tails - Concussion
----Wedges---- 1, 4 - Single 2, 5 - Double 3, 6 - None

Why is my showcase on Page 3? This will not do at all. Presenting what started out as a possible CW, but has turned into a HW instead. Actually 5mm Titanium, I has to mess around a little to get it on the weight limit. Only drawback seems to be the uninvertibleness. It should be able to scuttle around on its back a little bit, though.

Ah, well. I didn't think Conraaa'd get to my sides that easily. Good job, though, looks like the Final will be a direct wedge war. Good luck to both of you. =) Still going for the bronze.

Sound like a job for the TROLL PATROL!
You guys need a theme song.
Here's my nomination.
I listened to the whole thing...
TWICE!
Congratulations. Your brain is now obsolete.

That should be how it works. We need to wait for a space first, though, there's a few tournaments going on that are taking a while. I'll see if I can chase things up with some straddlers tomorrow.

I know i'm still running a tournament already, but would people be interested in a DSL sumo tournament in the near future?
I'd be interested in this, I was looking forward to kill's Sumo tournament before that went down the drain. I'd hope that it didn't degenerate into a wedge war, though.

Are you sure using the finalists from Series 1 is a good idea? If they're byebots, they should ideally be a bit rubbish, maybe you could use the two Wildcarders who didn't make it into the main bracket. At least that way they'll see some action in the tournament.

I love that rammer. How often does it get stuck on its front, though? The short stance and high speed might mean it flips over on a hit.
SnSnS, less impressed with. Lots of weight being wasted on stability, you could easily add a couple of Lightning Spikes or something on the underside of the discs to keep them off the ground.

Mod logs say Saucey was muted for saying the n-word.
where can you see the mod logs?
You need to be a moderator. SKBT mods the Real Robotics section, as does every Roboteer user. In oher news, I spy goose.

now someone has to tell me how this new tourament system works. I have to do a thread about it and wait for some days to put a green tick to it or something?
1) Make a Discussion thread with rules and such 2) Add green tick when you're ready to start 3) Your tournament will be added to a poll to move forward when there's a space, or just moved forward if there's not much activity From there on, it's pretty much same as last time. =D

Another good showing from Highlander. =) OI3 now, hopefully I can take it down before it KO's me. At least it's not as unrealistic as Titan was in B4ttlebots. I was a bit worried when it started Troll dancing slightly. I wonder if you can add a delay in Drum.py before the drum changes direction.

ian has probably built something similar. He's the foremost Stock AW builder at the moment, I'd say. It's a good effort to get everything in there, though. I hope it's not too havoky. And usually one pink is enough for AW's, largely due to the weight constraints.

Got inspired by Icon of Sin. Here's another one of my absurdly compact popups that's built well, but doesn't really work. Flight Path, sort of a MW Parabolic Trajectory. 398.6, DSA, 1 Black. 6 razors on a pair of Snapper2s, wedge is on that DDT at the back. Started out as an attempt at the Pyscolone Popup Challenge, but I did the maths, and it wouldn't allow me any defenses, so I turned it into this. It can self-right from pretty much anywhere, which is good, but it keeps wanting to turn right. I'm assuming that's because of the SnapperII positioning and orientation.

Sounds cool. What's the pillow of doom?
You receive yours on February 30th. Also, does the one havok per bot rule apply to the round, the match, or the entire tournament?
