And yes i did try decomp with serges then recomp with Dummys/FBs, but some reason whenever i use Dummys/FBs to compile on the ra2 tourney arena the screen goes blank when i load it then the audience start cheering lol :P
EDIT: While im at it, anyone know whats wrong with my lego wheel? (wont move robots along)

Well, for some reason FBs compiler doesnt like the arena, however when I use Serges compiler the arena works except there are no lights.
Man why cant there be just 1 compiler and decompiler that works? lol :P

not every single one, only the glass objects (walls & outer walls)
However i did realise that most other materials ended up with having no number at all at the end of their transparency settings so could be part of the problem?

All i've edited are vertexes, the positioning for some objects and the transparency settings for the Glass material.
Apart from that everything is the same as it should be.
It shouldnt be the Omni settings or the shadow triangle settings in the python that need changing should it?

Well its been a heck of a long time since i've done anything, so here is my latest mod
-RA2 Tournament AW Arena
Yes, its Lu-Tze's RA2 Tourney arena - for AWs and smaller classes.
Im acctually quite proud of it - even though theres not that much to it :P
The arena has just 1 small problem, which i usually encounter when modding this arena:

Its really dark :P
How do i turn the lights back on?
Once this has been done then hopefully i can release my first arena :P
Thanks

Discussion / Re: AP Angle Generator?
« on: October 26, 2010, 11:33:03 AM »
thats good, but what if someone wanted a say 47'degree or 89'degree AP, is there a formula/programme for generating the coordinates needed, thats what im asking (lol sorry for not making that clear :P)

Discussion / AP Angle Generator?
« on: October 26, 2010, 07:39:58 AM »
Hey all
Just an idea i came up with a few seconds ago for the coding heads of the forum :P
Click recently introduced the method of resizing GMF objects with Excell, so i was wondering if there was a special formula or a programm that could be developed to give the points needed certain angles for Attachment points?
ATM im using a decompiled Uber Connecter to get 6 basic APs, but its not that good if you want a 45'degree AP for example.
So would there be a certain formula or programme that could be developed to give coordinates for AP angles? (rather than having to use stuff like:
0  0  1
0  1  0
1  0  0
all the time.)
Just a little idea i had lol :P

Custom Components Showcase / Re: Pay Tribute With Replicas

Well, if you want the components, sure, but I warn you it's a mess.  There's tons of unnecessary stuff, and it'll be difficult to wade through it all.
If its any help sonny, you can add hidden = 2 or hidden = 1 in the .txt files of components, which will then make them hidden in the bot lab, making room for more worthy components.

You are right Somebody, Alejandro is our robot with the axe, but Hunter D1 was set to be an Axe bot.
That went up in flames when we tested the robot and the gears broke themselves, putting an end to that design...for the moment ;)

Hunter is probably the most perfect name for a team called Team Hunt :P

Yo.
Me and my dad was talking this morning about what the future of Hunter is, and about the rebuild, then i asked, "What name should he take, seeing at how its going to be a completely different design?"
I liked the name Hunter Reloaded - like a reloaded shot gun.
Dad suggested the name Hunter Destroyer, after the class of battleship.
When i asked my mum which one she liked, she helped by adding another name to the equation - Hunter Armed & Dangerous.
So, im gonna need a much wider opinion on which name to choose :P
BTW, if its any help, Hunter Rebuild will still be a ram bot, instead of a wedge will be a flat front with spikes, and be much shorter in lengh and more compact.
Thanks :)

Sorry to blow my own trumpet, but i think this has to be one of my best replicas ever :P
And its only using DSL components :D
I introduce, my robot: Hunter!

Plus i love the way it works like the thing :P (At last, my robot can easily make it through fights :P)

My mum was sorting out the cupboard under the stairs (where we keep my orphaned cousin, after both his parents died after some man got them with a stick

HOLY GUACAMOLE IT'S HARRY POTTER

Alejandro looks good, I fear that Hunter will be outdated by the time I get around to making it in DSL3.  Also, I wouldn't worry too much about spike vs. axe.  Hammers in general don't do much damage in the lighter weight classes, and electric hammers also don't do much; they're mostly for show.  Just go with whatever looks cooler.

Click, you are right to fear that Hunter would be outdated by the release of DSL 3.0 :P But, if you would like me to help with the replica of one of my bots, im perfectly capable :)
