My spidey-sarcasm senses are tingling. I give you full permission to download it and make revisions to turn it into a killing machine. :D Don't worry about your respect level, you are doing a solid job being a moderator and that is getting you the respect you deserve. I, honestly, mean no disrespect with the name of the bot, you pretty much pioneered the rageface movement on GTM. I can't help but think about you when I see that face. And, yes, the whole idea for the bot spawned simply from wanting to put happycryrageface on a DSL disc for the lulz. It just kinda took off from there.

Hey wow! Thanks for the votes guys. I think a bunch of the entries in Dec BOTM were awesome. Fracture's bot got my vote. I seriously lol'd when I saw it. Nice! That bot looks most excellent. I always had such a hard time trying to integrate storm 2 skirts in any design, due to the odd attachment point. They look great on your bot.
Kudos for the time investment! The final product looks well worth all that time and effort.

Agreed. Even though I lean more toward the IRL style of building (mainly because I enjoy it), I do miss seeing those showcases active. I believe that a lot of trends in bot building are driven by inspiration... and the IRL style is ruling at the moment. DSL realistic ruled for a long time though, I don't think it is entirely forgotten, but I think that people got tired of it for now.

With the exposed front like that... the mace layout on the second picture is more effective. Bots with weapons spinning inward from both sides usually have to have some armor in the front to keep their prey at bay. I agree with the slower drive idea.
Looks good though. I like it.
Edit: Derp. those are pics of the same bot... :P So yeah... uhhhh have the maces spin outwards and keep the hits away from the head of your exposed chassis.

Wish I could, but p-cat blades only have one connection point. However, I kinda like how it looks semi-messy like that because it further adds to the bull=chaos factor. I don't know for sure, but I think that those blades don't have normals because each one seems to do a decent amount of damage hitting from either side of the blade. Thanks for the compliments. :D

If I can squeeze into the HW bracket... This is my entry for Battlebots 5. Splash complete with soundtrack. Click on Spoiler and press play.  I wanted to make something for an IRL tourney using Pussycat Blades effectively. I am pretty happy with the result. It's not invertible and wedgeless but the damage factor is pretty hardcore. Side protection is nice, courtesy of overkill blades and a messload of hexplates. Underside protection is not-so good, which is pretty common in combat robots. Turtles eh? gotta love em. Oh, and special thanks to NFX for inspiring me to use a higher res with my skins. I thought the look of Challenger was so awesome I had to get into 1024x1024 myself. I wish I had done that a long time ago. Edit: fixed splash to show correct weight XD... this Bull is not on a diet!

I'm a hardcore gamer, and I'm concerned about getting bullied at school.
They bully kids over consoles these days? Damn I am getting old. I guess bullying over race or sexual preference got old. :P I'm just sticking to being loyal to the 360 because I <3 the controller layout. Simple as that.
