The problem might be;
1. The resolution is not compatible with your monitor
2. The Resolution is a poor choice for your graphics card (I doubt 1 and this)
3. The resolution might not be compatible with RA2
4. Your GUI was installed wrong and as a result, KABLOOEY.
But I'm not a doctor.
I can see right now that I am going to have to set a post limit for new guys to post in Technical Support ..... IF YOU DON'T KNOW, THEN KEEP OUT!!!!!! Now, to help. Go in your game folder (which is usually C:\Program Files\Infrogrames\Robot Arena 2) and find ra2 and open with notepad Find FSDisplayWidth=800 FSDisplayHeight=600 FS3DDisplayWidth=800 FS3DDisplayHeight=600 and change to your resolution. If you have an nVidia vidoe card, you may need to 1.3 patch your game.

This month will be Stock MW RULES: - AI parts are allowed, excluding the 140cm square extender
- cheatbot2 is not allowed
- Custom parts ARE NOT allowed
- Realistic rule DOES NOT APPLY
- Normal building with normal glitches allowed (no AAM, BFE or hax mode)
- Make a splash and upload it using the uploader
- Show the weight in your splash
- You MUST include a shot of the insides
- Entries can be no wider than 700px and no taller than 800px
- Entries can be any image type NO LARGER than 1.0 MB (1024KB or less)
- Only one entry per member
- Entries need to be in by Friday 7/27/12 12:00 midnight Central time

There are MILLIONS of crickets on my job site under the light plants ....... maybe BILLIONS.
The ground turns black with them under the lights.
We have mayflies here, it is a sign I use to tell how the fish are biting.
Haven't seen any this year, but I was working and missed prime bass season
