2 snappers or one on the LW? cause then its just 2 20cms sticking out the back.

as for the mw, it's not a very clear shot. i can't tell if the tribars are in the same spot and AGODed a bit or if you slightly separated them in the setup.

a quote from pyscolone: "it takes a while for good bots to get comments, from what i've noticed." (or something along those lines)

my thinking is that if people can't come up with a question or criticism, they tend not to comment.

Sage, I have an idea of how this can work!!!

It will be points based.

Say I ranked 10 people:

1.Clickbeetle
2.Sage
3.pys
4.Inf
5.Naryar
6.ACAMS
7.SSG
8.Venko
9.S32
10.Me
(now these ranks mean nothing, so nobody complain)

Rank 1 will get 10 points
Rank 2 will get 9
etc.

The total points decide the rankings.

Good?

I was thinking i would take all the votes for one person and average them out, and then the people with the top ten highest averages would, well, be in the top ten. but that's good too. ill see which one works better.

how did you get that animation anyway?

I made it.

IN DETAIL:

i made a semi transparent black and white energy wave (won't go into that). next, i keyframed the position of the energy wave so it moved from right to left and back again. and then added a ramp behind it, switched to radial ramp, set the colors to teal and red, (so basically a red dot in the middle that fades to a teal surrounding. i put that behind the semi transparent energy wave so thats where the color comes from. next, i added text in front of the energy wave and keyframed the opacity so it fades in as the wave passes over it. i added a glow to the text as well as a fast blur so that the colors mesh with it better. Last, i added a temperal displacement effect to the text, and put the evolution at time*500 as well as keyframed the amount from 1 to 50. thats where the wave effect comes from. so after getting everything timed just the right way this program also lets you render it directly into an animated .gif. to fix the size i found an online .gif cropper.

See, ACAMS allowed AI Parts this time around so he used the YU Hammers off the YU812 Replica which are slightly smaller (I think) and weigh only 4kg.

Thanks R0B0.

I won't nominate myself, I'll just put out there that I come on usually more than once everyday, and am not as big of a noob basher as inf and pysc. (At least, i don't think i am LOL)

Anyways, this is a good idea. I noticed things were getting a little out of hand for the two (three if you count starcore) and one mod that we have.

IMO we need to boost madiaba up to admin and make two new moderators.

is there a deadline for nominations?

I'm thinking June 18th... That gives you guys 20 days, which is a nice round number. A full month would be too long.

Also, i put the outline for the ranks on the first post, so it's easier to get to.
