Can you make it fully Stock?
I don't know- I think for the motors and other gubbins of some robots (IE. Chaos 2's flipper, Razer's crushing arm, HypnoDisc's spinner), extra parts will be needed.
Yeah, but I will do it Fully Stock as possible.
Do you mean "As close to" Fully Stock as you can?

Do you want submissions, or just modifications of Alphasim's AI?
My guess would be starting with the modifications, before submitting new ones in afterwards.

I had a horrible dream last night. Garvin won BOTM. D=
And if he's cosplaying as God on the forums, somebody fetch Kratos XD
(Image removed from quote.)
Indeed I did. Now go kill Garvin

You mean Alphasim's one, right? I used to have that one on my old computer.
Yeah, That.
Thought so. The Razer and Behemoth reps competed in AON1, if I recall correctly. Whilst I was also in the game, I also got my first taste of text file editing by changing around the team names and mottoes. One of my favourite changes was changing "Destruction (we think)" to the "Hand-me-Down Clowns", in reference to its two HW team members.

Are they like regular stock, or do they have custom components, these BOT files?

3) Maybe once I get a bit of practise in building and AIing in, this might be worth a look- a stock version of the DSL pack (IE. Improved original Stock AI, with whole new teams and other things) might be a good idea. That, and graphic design might need to be a factor as well, in redesigning the UI.
lol at the fact this exact pack is coming out in like a month.
It is?

*stuff* Build a real robot become a roboteer
One thing though... ...if I had the knowledge, tools and the money to do so, I'd have done so a long time ago.

Not so much the members themselves, on that front, but more the new users around here. They tend to only really look up to those who have the higher titles. And ever since I became a Superheavy, I've always wanted to be one of those people- someone whom newer users can look up to and respect, whom I can take under my wing to help improve on GTM and RA2 in general. I have heard from several that I do have potential in doing so with elements including my apparent wit, charm, knowledge and charisma on the forums. The only problem is, how? How will I get these newer users to notice me? In my current state, it's quite difficult to do so. It's just that there are so many SHWs on the forum now, that it's no longer a really distinctive honour to have- more or less average joes to them, really. At the same time, newer users are told time and time again to "Only trust those with the coloured usernames", which makes it harder for them to trust you. Then finally, there's that matter of 75% on the Watch-O-Meter. Again, that really doesn't help- it makes me look like part of GTM's criminal underworld, ergo blending me in down further. Alongside my reasons stating recognition for what I have contributed to GTM, I also feel that without it, it's generally very hard to actually get them to trust them, when they won't tell you the time of day because you don't have a coloured username.
Become a good builder/run tournaments/make cool mods?
1) I do consider myself to be a reasonable builder, but the thing is that I don't do it that often- only really for tournaments and things. 2) Something I unfortunately have neither the knowledge nor the software for. I am willing to learn in greater depth, though- I don't want to dive right into it though, that's the main thing- be sure that I have both the time and capabilities of producing a good tournament, instead of making the crucial mistake of many a n00b's early career- assuming you can do a tournament immediately with no prior knowledge. I will never be an AU, so I don't care about it that much.
You never know...maybe it could happen :P

Can we have a multibot and have each bot be from a different game?
That sounds like it may be stretching it. If they were from the same game (for instance, two robots based on Team Fortress 2), I think it would be fine. Two different games would be rather jerkish, especially since you could deprive someone of a perfectly good choice because you wanted to enter two different non-related robots.
I'll just scrap my WarpStar+MissingNo. combo and upgrade MissingNo. to a HW.
Or I suppose you could make Missingno and M? Or partner it with a bot based on the Bad EGG glitch?

And J? It's that I'd like to be seen in more of a positive light, really. Sure there is being a SHW, but that's quite meaningless if every other Tom, Dick and Harry has that same ranking. I'd like to be able to be seen as someone to be able to trust amongst the newer users, really- in the current state, it's like being lost in a crowd.
Since when to people on GTM judge eachother based on member titles? People only "notice" you based on what you can build and how well it goes over. Like how nothing of mine is ever that serious, but I always try and go for a clever design with a bit of humor thrown into it. You only gain "fame" if you bot wins a major tournament. And by "major tournament", I mean something like BOTM or a tournament hosted by Click, etc, etc.

GF, don't go copying just because you want a different member title.
Well I hadn't wanted to, but it looks like it's all I can do to get that AU title- I've been around here and contributing what I can twice as long as many AUs around here, and still no recognition for what I have done :/
J was around before GTM even existed, old username Armadillo.
Oh...right. I knew I'd heard the name somewhere. My apologies. In regards to many other AUs however, my point does still stand. I mean, I've been around for so long, with good experience on both GTM and RA2. And what do I have to show for it? This signature, the post count, and the haircut.
Though if you think about it, most of the user titles are only being used by past members of that old RA2 forum, and not just for being part of GTM.
Yet, that only really seems to apply to the Mods and the Vets. We get plenty of new AUs- take GK and NFX for instance. They're comparatively new members, yet they're AUs. I realise that they have achieved much more than I could ever hope to achieve one fifth of, they've only been around for a year or two, IIRC. I've been here and contributing wherever I can for at least three/four years. Thus if it's alright, a bit of recognition for that would be a nice thing to have.
It's the fact, that they've contributed more, not for how long they've been here.
I suppose you're right. Might as well give up if that's the only way to get it- other than building for the occasional tournament, there is literally nothing else. And J? It's that I'd like to be seen in more of a positive light, really. Sure there is being a SHW, but that's quite meaningless if every other Tom, Dick and Harry has that same ranking. ACAMS is obviously trolling MNB.
^^^Fixed^^^
I would join you guys, but I'm not an Advanced User.
...yes you are.
Correction: I only became an Advanced User on-the-spot because ACAMS wants me to switch my Avi and Sig.
What the-?! OK, OK, time out. He made you an AU simply because of that?!
I said I would make my avi+sig the same as MNB because apparently its national Pinkie Pie day on GTM, provided, I was an Advanced User. ..... TBH, I didn't expect ACAMS to actually do it.
Gah... ...guess this means that I'll have to do it too then, eh?
