Damn it Hard Bot. I told you to WAIT. I never agreed on doing this YET. I still don't have an idea for Pot Luck, Avalanche wants to challenge me. Hell I barely have any time for this when I don't have anything going on. Don't be supprised if I don't get a bot in.
Avalanche said he will fight after him challenges me.At least I won this challenge because GarvintheFail did not send a bot in the time period.
Only by default though, man. It's just not the same as beating him fair and square.

It's contributions, or just being old guard like myself, I guess. But also, I don't think ACAMS will give it to people that still act like foals, hence Jonzu and GF will forever be blank flanks.
Well, I do try to contribute where I can in entering tournaments and things, and have been around for a long time- it's ultimately naivete in the field of things like recording and AIing that has prevented me from doing things like Tournaments. If I had the necessary skills, I'd have hosted some a long time ago. but I don't want to make the GTM n00b's crucial mistake, thinking they can run before they can walk, in how they try to start tournaments as soon as they join without any of the necessary skills. Hence I want to take my time in learning, and being absolutely sure I'm capable of running a tournament before I actually go out and do so. And as for that whole "Acting the Foal" thing, you've got to admit I'm at least a bit more mature than several members on these forums- the stupid things I tend to do are more down to emotional insecurity, really. I try to control it, and I have improved over time, though. And the "Forever Blank Flanks" thing? Yes, thanks for using a Fantastic Slur to describe me

Although he doesn't count- he's a roboteer already :P

Those qualites are irrelevant for being considered for AU - it's contributions to the RA2 community which carry the most weight - and Jonzu has far outstripped GF93 in that respect.
I realise and acknowledge that fact, but what I do know is that the one thing keeping Jonzy from being AU is his attitude- sure he's a good builder, but he's quite short-tempered about quite a few things. Foxman getting AU? Now that's a good joke!
Is that a challenge, Pinkamena?
GF, You won't get AU title before me. That's sure.
Want to bet, mate? At least I can handle myself in an argument and don't fly off the handle at the slightest mention of your fetishes
Stop it. Now.
Proved my point there :P Foxman getting AU? Now that's a good joke!

I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but you do remind me of a little foal without a cutie mark.
You could say- was more or less reminded of that myself.

??? At that point it had only lost 1 wheel and the side armour!
I was also referring to some of the spikes, and the chassis armour in general. Even still, by that point, I was pretty much doomed, with a wheel and A-Bomb's speed gone, it was pretty much a sitting duck.

Oh, right. I finished to write the statement, considering that once A-Bomb's armour, wheels and weaponry were gone, there wasn't much point in watching the deathblow being dealt. What did it say, though?

I had a horrible dream last night. Garvin won BOTM. D=
And if he's cosplaying as God on the forums, somebody fetch Kratos XD
(Image removed from quote.)
That's NOT Kratos.(Image removed from quote.) This is Kratos.
Well, as long as Garvin is taken care of, I don't care which one it is :P

But yes, looks like "The Curse" struck again.

Blah. Just as I thought, the S_M curse strikes again. Still, I guess it was to be expected- with that design, I didn't have a hope in Hell of winning.
And Conraa? Did it? I'd had no idea.

I've changed my mind. I'll be following this before I leave again. Just to see if I can pull it off to actually win a tournament.
I'm surprised by how good your wedges are, and I'm glad that someone with a lower profile than most got this far. One of my wedges could get under them but the other one AGOD'd:P
And Sage got under mine effortlessly X_X Still, considering how good he is at DSL, it's to be expected, really- I'm not ashamed of losing to him :P One thing I am worried about however, is that I'm against S_M next. Considering the contrast between his design and mine, only one thing ran through my mind-
Erm... GF:
Meanwhile, Reier vs Me will be up v. soon.
Oh good, it's up? Well, let's see how I lose...once it's loaded, I'll give my verdict.

Your mind needs streaming? Odd.
I'll just see how stuff goes and... Meh, I'm happy I was somehow able to get this far.
Yep- well, it beats having to eat steaks raw and drink blood to survive :P But yes, I do find it good that I managed to beat two opponents en-route to getting here, and even if I did lose, it was to two worthy adversaries

If you're gonna do Plunderbird, I'd love it if you could actually pull the Series 1 version off, with the interchangeable weapons. =] That, and I think it was the coolest looking one of the saga.
For me, I thought Plunderbird 2 was the coolest- it just looked so sleek and cool with its black armour and metal badges and things, of course also having the power to match, particularly when we saw it single-handedly dispatch Dead Metal and Sergeant Bash in the trial
It was cool, but I thought it was quite plain as well. It was a superb moment when it disposed of Bash and Dead Metal in the Trials, plus they had the frankly excellent theme song that year. But Plunderbird 1 was the coolest looking one for me, plus the interchangeable weaponry was a brilliant feature. Shame we didn't get to see more of it, it would have been much better than Dreadnaut.
Indeed- the Crowning Music of Awesome was a definite factor in its appeal, too. I wonder if anyone has the lyrics or anything? And yes- next to Plunderbird 2, Plunderbird 1 was my favourite- I was so disappointed to see such a great-looking and original design crash out so early- it would at least have been more exciting to watch than Dreadnought bumping into goalposts and breaking down. Still, at least they got the "Best Design" award that year, so it wasn't all for nothing.

Oh, OK. But if that's the case, I can't imagine it working well- most of the default parts are either too big or too weak to use.
Yep, That's the problem.
Indeed. That's the basis for my thoughts on this potentially being a way to update the enclosed replicas, and maybe add some new ones in at the same time. I mean, with that 6-robot-in-a-team code, I can imagine it working well. For instance, in the Veterans team, we could have, alongside Spawn Again and Bulldog Breed, other robots from older series of RW, like Mortis, Napalm, Plunderbird and Cassius.

I have been thinking about making a pair of robots from cardboard, a pair of flipper, little more than the size of an xbox cotroller, if possible. I was wondering what the cost would be, what tools I would need and where to get the parts. Not for any competition, just to mess around with. Like a cheap version of AntyB, if you have ever seen that, but a more generic flipper design.

Anty B? I remember this one. Didn't it fall under the Floor Flipper in its first antweight battle?

Can you make it fully Stock?
I don't know- I think for the motors and other gubbins of some robots (IE. Chaos 2's flipper, Razer's crushing arm, HypnoDisc's spinner), extra parts will be needed.
Yeah, but I will do it Fully Stock as possible.
Do you mean "As close to" Fully Stock as you can?
Yeah...
OK. So by certain changes, do you mean like reskinning certain parts and things, and swapping around motors and power supplies so that the robots perform more like their real-life counterparts?
