Avatar size has been increased to 140x140.....and a new status created....we now have veterans that have extra privileges and 150x150 avatars. I may have skipped a few true veterans (sorry) and if so I will catch it later and veterans can be nominated here (does not mean you will be selected) Doesn't this mean everyone? Or am I misreading it?

I have some questions for you guys about tournament play. What is is the criteria to become eligible for tournaments? What are the general rules? How are tournaments done? How often are tournaments held? If you guys could answer these questions for me, it would really be helpful.

My control panel still says 100x100px or 19.5 kb whichever is smallest. Can I get this fixed please?

I don't remember what show it was. It was just a generalized technology show, not all robotics.

I just couldn't resist putting "Yahoo!" on it. The one that was on TV didn't have Yahoo!, but there was something in that spot.

Well, I have built a replica of a robot I saw on some TV show some years back. Sorry, but I don't have any pictures of the original. It is never to be fought competeively, I built it for fun. I don't need any suggestions, just reactions. Hopefully I won't get in deep sh-- with the administrators for posting it... Name: "The Cocky Bot" Weight Class: Lightweight @ 232.3 kg Armor: DSA Weaponry: 80 cm Pole Spike Powertrain: 2-Z-Tek HP Motors attached to Shiny Hub wheels Power: SuperVolt 12 Volt Battery Stats: None Fastest Kill: None

Based on your signature, you have a very basic understanding of Photoshop. I can do alot more. I just prefer to keep my designs fairly simple, but still make them look good. Basically, I save the complex Photoshop work for paying clients. Really I'd rather work with Illustrator and InDesign, but I don't have the money to buy Adobe CS3 or CS4 yet. Edit: Where it says "Team Reject..." is just text, but the Hurricane Designs & Graphics is Photoshop.

I have figured out how to do robot skins now as well. So if anyone needs anything designed, I'd be glad to do it. Just fill out the below information, and if it is a skin you are needing, email the templete to hurricane.andrew92@hotmail.com Item needed: Details to include: Preferred size: Preferred colors: Email to send to when finished: Other necessary information:

I'm jumping back to the Mac topic. I like Macs, but I was raised on Windows 95, ME(completely junk OS) and now I have XP. In school, in the Graphic Arts class I took, was my first experience with a Mac (they had them because Macs are notoriously better for graphic design). They were almost brand new iMacs with OSX (not sure which version though). Once I learned the basics of Macs, I loved it. I still wouldn't trade my PC for one just yet, though.

yes, photoshop is awesome. as for how, lets just say venko isn't the only one who can play with .tga files... Totally agreed. Photoshop is the sh--, but I still haven't learned the all the tricks for targa files. I'll get it figured out though. Edit: Well, Maybe it isn't the targa file type that is screwing me up. I just tried to add some bitmaps to the decals, and they do the same thing when in the game.

... a complete set of the little rev-engine toys they had including the very rare Bad Attitude.
That's the name of the one that I thought was Gamma Raptor! That just jogged my memory! So I have it too, but why do you say it's rare?
