Alright, here are my thoughts on the upcoming winner's matches: Creepalot vs S_M:
Stock: Honestly, creepalot eats SM's stock bot for breakfast. It seems a perfect counter.
DSL: This is going to be a massive wedj war. SM's looks better, but I don't know.
IF: Another wedge war, however this time creepalot looks at a significant disadvantage.
prediction:
XoXo ;D vs Crouching Robot, Extra Crouch
YAAAAS XDXD vs V=IR Evo
;D Rawr XP vs L = XRP Silverfish/Badger vs Thrackerzod:
Stock: I have hopes that with that exposed HPZ being the only weapon, Eddy can knock it weaponless and get its first win here.
DSL: Comes down mostly to two things: Who has a better wedge, and if Go Play Ironforge can hit that once again exposed motor.
IF: Complete and total wedge/endurance war, unless for some reason, badger made 115's spinner spin down...
predictions:
Eddy vs Oblivion
Ammunition vs Go Play Ironforge (Honestly, I have no clue who wins this)
115 vs Immortal (But it'll be really close either way)

Who Needs Research: Anyways, this will be entertaining to watch.
My job here is done.  As you can probably guess, I do next to no research for my dsl/if bots (and I also don't roadtest), so if it can fight, I find myself satisfied. :)

*storytime incoming*
When I first played RA2 (Even before I got on the forums, I was about 10), I had a major, MAJOR case of n00b (specifically, I didn't know how to attach my controls to my bots, so I was constantly frustrated when my bots wouldn't move), so I just ended up using C.R.U.S.H all the time. Thus, instead of EMERGENCY, my early AI bogeymen were the likes of ALARM, The Boxer, and Tornado.
Also, I've grown attached to Coal Miner; something about the bot just clicks with me. Plus, he probs would have been better if he had a proper motor powering that facespinner of his. I think when RA3 comes out I'm gonna remake him in it along with Barbershop Chop, if the game hasn't already.
Woah... Pretty much my life story in RA2, except I had no problem with ALARM/Boxer.
