Look. If you're going to whine about IRL not being a good meta (#NotMyMeta), how about you host an stock tournament? Whining about the current tournament situation without doing anything about it is pointless. People run the tournaments they want to see happen, so you not running a tournament shows you don't care enough to run a stock tournament.

the rules seem a bit inconsitend to me. Pulsar vs Ironside 3 in the head to head looked like a simmilar situation ass PP3D vs Cherub. But this time both bots got 2 points. I can see why they did that but it doesn't seem right. In this case they could have given 2 points to Behemoth and Cherub in the fight with the Arenaflipper incident too
They cut out the regular post-match interview where Team Outlaw (Ironside 3) said that they saw the immobilisation counter count out Pulsar, and understandably stopped hitting them. The Judges didn't see this, and gave a regular judges decision, to Pulsar. I presume this is because he thought Pulsar had more aggression because Ironside didn't attack them again, but I am not certain that Ellis didn't just bribe Noel Sharkey. Anyways, once this was mentioned, the judges realised "o s*** we f***ed up" and gave both teams 2 points because they needed repairs and a immediate rematch wouldn't have been fair on Pulsar. Or something. Then they gave 2 points to both teams. I don't think they could have done anything else.

Quick couple of questions: Are drones really a good idea? How are you going to make them easy to kill if the bottom is invincible? Will the arena have area for OOTA's?

So about the captain's choice: if they choose their order list of robots that they want to fight, doesn't that just mean it's blind luck on what robot match-ups happen with no way to switch strategies? If you did something where each round the captains choose 2/1 robots that they want to send to fight, it would add a little bit more strategy.
Also, doing a sort of draft system where each captain picked a robot from the line up in turn might be cool and prevent unbalanced (nobody on team dark has wedges ffs why) teams.

And drafting is a retarded idea, the entire point is that you choose your team, and can theme your bot to match your team.
Mecha Hitler was on Team Light. Your theming point is invalid. Also, allowing people to choose teams allows for inherently unbalanced teams from blind luck. Hence, a draft where each captain chooses a robot in turn would be best for balancing teams.

the way half the wheel is exposed on v2 makes me not like that version. If you could somehow get the wheel guard taller so it's a full box, THEN add the angled plate, that should make it absolutely killer.
