All depends what you are trying to do with the popup. A slower popup needs to be built very differently from a fast one to be effective.

And went downhill rather quickly IIRC.

Also, I apologize to any n00bs who I blamed for sparkey's unbanning. It was all ACAMS's fault. :gawe:

You have to go farther back then 2011 to see his crap. 2009-2010 the worst areas. And IIRC only 3 of the people on that list were here around when you arrived. Reier, SD, and HA. My battery is dying so I don't have time to check, so someone check the others please. By the way they are all known trolls.

I have personally tried to help you sparkey. You are on a short damn leash with me. If I see crap from you I will go nuts (SOOO hard not to swear here) until ONE of us is banned.

100 pages and you still can't build to the weight limit? Sheesh.

Btw I have every reason to hate sparkles after the crap he cause around here. We've dealt with him for years through multiple accounts, comeback threads, rage quits, ad purported "improvements", just to go back straight to what made us hate him in the first place. And now he is unbanned just because a bunch of n00bs who were NEVER around when he was here wanted him back. HE HAS HAD SECOND CHANCES. AND THIR AND FOURTH. Enough of this.

On Banish3r, after putting the wheels on the AP, hold Ctrl and move the mouse in the way someone normally would to raise a component. Do it on all wheels and it should drive straight IIRC.

It's always been an unstated rule I guess. But it has always been there.

I fear I may 'win' this thread, as i'm quite involved in racing rFactor online. Not super competitive or one of 'those' racers that competes for actual prize-money, but I have my own online racing team established, and for the last few years have taken part in a number of online endurance races. All of these have grids of at least 38-40 cars, all are done in real-time, and have ranged from 'short' 6-hour events, to 12-hr Le Mans races, and most recently a 24hr race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

I also paint a lot of cars for this game, although I won't post those yet incase i'm boring the crap out of you.

I'd like to see some of them :)

Judging by the little bit of the vids I watched (specifically, the start of video 1) you need to practice your driving a bit more. Good luck though, driving could win you a lot of matches with that bot.

Also, put some kind of wedge on it so that the lifter isn't just sticking out way in front of the bot. It'll be easy to catch other robots with it.

Oh my god.

I had it in the proposal and everything to build to Robogames rules, and they aren't running a 30lb class this year according to their website. 6WD LW Time?

The Speed controllers have a BEC, so that's all set and thanks for all your help everybody.

Every other part is modeled, and I was about to do the OrangeRx Receiver. I noticed that the listing for it mentioned nothing about a failsafe. Shouldn't it have one?

Edit: And does it need a receiver battery? I don't see one in Nyx.

I am planning a 4wd bot, because looking cool and POWERRRRR will probably help me more in the project than a real effectiveness.

I forget where you wrote it mike I think it was in the instructable for Nyx that you said that the two drive motors drew about 1300 mAh. I figured with 4 I would need 2600 and then a bit of breathing room so I chose a 3300.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17261__Turnigy_nano_tech_3300mah_6S_45_90C_Lipo_Pack.html

Same brand but I just wanted to verify.

Also, what does 45-90C stand for?

Edit: And also, what does 6S stand for?

Now would the amp draw change at all if the motors were set on low power?

Edit: didn't notice the part in your post answering my question, thanks

Would you happen to know the amp draw of the dewalt motors? I need it to choose batteries and speed controllers.
