Yeah, I don't know. On the one hand, he was the King of Pop during the '80s. On the other, he did fiddle children. Yeah, that's pretty much how I initially felt about it. Kind of like OJ Simpson (finally) going to prison. He was a star athlete in his day, but then he was also a murderer... Edit: Good Lord, S32, but still a good one! lol

Also, I can't seem to make any anti-ballast appear under Extras in the bot lab. Can I get exact instructions on getting it in the game?

Here is a good one... Go to Google, type in "find Chuck Norris" and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button.

I was in my storage room looking around and i found the original nintendo plus like 12 games and it still works but the controller is not very user friendly. I have 55 original Nintendo games... And if it is a square controller, they weren't designed to be ergonomic. They later released newer version of the Nintendo that had "dogbone" controllers much like the Super Nintendo.

Like a full body spinner? Or more of a glitch? And is that intentional? You should put as much info about your bot as you can when you showcase them, it avoids people like me having to ask a load of questions before anyone can get anywhere. The torque of the spinners turns the whole robot. Edit: I know this because I tried building a similar bot.

Does anyone know where to find pictures of Spring Breaker? That would help tremendously with the skinning of it.

I can imagine Flexy Flier would be hard to make a replica of. I'm sticking mainly to the simpler one to start. I've got Malvolio done, and Spring Breaker still needs the skin finished, but thats all i have started for now. By the way, does anyone know where to find pictures of Spring Breaker? I have only been able to find two pictures, and neither of them were very good.

depends, can you ai, skin a robot, and build better than life ra2 Yeah I'm pretty sure I can build better than LRA2, and I know how to skin. Although I don't know how to AI, but I am hoping somebody could help with that. Sonny_Resetti: http://members.toast.net/joerger/gallery.html Edit: Pshhht! is one of them I was going to do, but if you already have it then I guess I don't need to.

I have been making a few replicas lately, and have found a webpage that has pictures of the bots from all three seasons of Robotica. So I am wondering, who would be interested in a Robotica replica pack? Edit: Robotica replicas are being built. Done: PSHHHT! - Sonny_Resetti Jawbreaker's Revenge - Sonny_Resetti Solar Flare - Sonny_Resetti Juggerbot 3.0 - Sonny_Resetti In the works: FlexyFlyer (?) - Pwnator Spring Breaker - HurricaneAndrew Malvolio - HurricaneAndrew Whyatica - JoeBlo If anyone else has more to be added, let me know in this thread.

the spinners spin the whole bot around. Yeah, that's why my bot, Scrambler, ended up in my "Scrapped Failures" thread. You cant control it.

I guess everyone is an idiot to tankcat Yeah, I guess so. His statemnt does nothing but reinforce the truth of my "know-it-all attitude" comment.

You know what, tankcat? I'm sick of you're know-it-all attitude... go f--k yourself. The point of the thread was to get a good discussion going. I didn't seriously think that an online community would actually get together and buy the rights to a $10k+ game. But I am serious, however, about buying the source code. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HAND IT OVER WITHOUT GAINING ANYTHING! Especially with the followers it still has. Most PC games die completely after a couple years. That is why they become freeware. This game has lived past it's expectancy, and I'm sure that Atari knows that. So as I said before, they aren't going to just give it away. Edit: Haven't you ever heard of the saying "Money talks, bulls--t walks"?

How do you know how Atari works, you are assuming to much... Lucasarts is a major corporation and they released the source to their multiplayer JKA engine. So? Just because they did it doesn't mean Atari will.
