Inheritance Cycle.

Last Apprentice series.

Harry Potter.

Any book with scary, heart-stopping moments.

So I assume you like Stephen King too?

I haven't done it myself, but here's how I'd make Disector's claws

Use 3 of the Beetlebros' Chicken motors (The serov-typs, of course), and attatch an extender to each one using a side connection point.  To each one of those, attatch a Sir Killalot claw.

Ooh, so there's a way to get it for free?  Please, tell me how.

Can anyone recommend a good program for making videos of RA2 footage?  I've looked all over, but all the ones I've tried are rubbish.

On that note, any chance we could ramp up the power of the servo's so they have enough power to lift a heavyweight?

The only way to crash the game with this if I try to stack two on a spinning motor. It doesn't crash right away, it happens once it gets up to full spinning speed.

Also, any chance you could make this component more durable?  I broke it easily in the test area, and even stock extenders don't break in there.

The Iron Mask, a robot with an axe and a couple of small teeth for ramming.  You can probably tell that I concentrated more on form than function here, as neither weapon is particularly effective (The axe is attached to a low powered servo motor:baby_smily:.)

Ruf Ruf Dougal, a robot that's supposed to look like that dog on the show Dougal.  It's got a spike that shoots out in front.  Probably intended to be a joke entry.

Pretty sweet component.  I've been looking for something like this, I've wanted to build a few replicas that use chain flails, and I can probably use this for that.

I think the Black extenders need to be lighter and weaker than the red, you know, for more diversity.

Edit: also, I think we should work with the hitpoints like this:

10KG = 1000 HP
20KG = 2000 HP

And so on.

Why not make the square extenders stronger, since they weigh twice as much?

We should give Obama a warranty
1 year or 1 terrorist attack. Then we should be mad.

You do realize that our current president had a terrorist attack only 8 months into his 1st term.

Discussion / Unlockables?
« on: November 07, 2008, 05:18:47 PM »
If you name your bot cheatbot2 you will unlock a few cheat components.

Here's how I make a custom skin:

1) Paint each side of your robot's body a different color, and  remember which is which.
2) Add one or two layers of dark edges
3) Hit "export texture" and give it a name you'll remember.  Make sure to check off "export current texture instead of a default one"
4) Return to your desktop, and in your RA2 folder, look under "custom textures" and find the name of your file.  Open it with any program that can handle BMP's.

The file will show you each side, with the dark edges indicating boundaries.  Edit it as you wish, save, and return to the paint shop, and hit "import texture."  You should be all set.

Important: Do not adjust the size of the picture or your texture will come out looking messed up.

So, I understand it's been a tough week for the republicans.  Between losing the white house, and losing several seats in congress, I can understand how y'all must be pretty upset.  So I got you guys some presents to cheer you up.

Here's a robot built in homage to America's pastime.  No, not baseball, there's too many blacks, Mexicans, and Asians in that.  No, I'm talking about NASCAR.  This robot is built to resemble a racecar, and it's got a front and a rear flipper.  Its name is GBH, which of course stands for "george bush is hawesome"

There's nothing like having all your white friends over for burgers and beer.  But what happens when one of your friends can't get a bottle open?  Try as he might, the bottle won't budge, and it makes him so mad he could just burn a cross.  Well, that's a thing of the past thanks to Corkscrew.  This robot allows you to forego those hard-to-open bottles with its spinning body that can smash right through them!  It's got 6 blades on its body and a bizarre springy thing on top.  It's from Scotland, a gift from one beer-loving nation to another.

[/Republican impression]

The lower class as you put it are lower class because they DO sit on their ass all day.....around here they sit on the front porch and drink beer all day WHILE MY TAX DOLLARS PUT FOOD ON THEIR TABLE. I know you don't think the lazy crack head bastards should be able to sit on their ass and get money......more than the lazy bastards already get.

Of course not.  But you must explain to me how someone can make enough money off welfare alone to afford food, mortgage, and from your description, the occasional luxury.  Where I come from, the economy would chew you up and spit you out if you decided you were too good for the daily grind.

I would not call Barbie a pig if I was you.....she may jump through the internetz and cyberslap hell out of you!

I wasn't calling her a pig.

Anyways, why are people so concerned with what other people will get from Barack?  Everyone's complaining about how people on welfare get so much free stuff, can't they just be happy about their own benefits?  (I assume no one here is raking in 250K+ a year) There are always going to be people out there whose money to work ratio is better than yours.

The upper class already makes money by sitting on their ass all day.  Why not let the lower class do the same?

Why does your avatar look like ACAMS's avatar, only with makeup and a handbag?

Is this an example of putting lipstick on a pig?
