Chaining pistons is tempting the gods of havok.
Although it never happened for my DSL HW chained poker - Patriot 2...
Hehe, I tempted the Havok Overlord with that one HW I built, Centrifuge of Pain - it was basically the Project Trinity glitch. :P

yes.
I think that may work...
Alright, I'll try that out the next time I work on some designs and rebuilds. Thanks! :)

I know a cool glitch bot you could turn it into attatch a T conector on the side to a piston, then attatch another piston to it, if the conection point diaspeers, you did it right. And hopefully, it will havoc around the arena when you fire it. It worked for me, at least.
That's not the effect I want. I wanted it to be a pneumatic weapon with a crazy long reach to it. Don'treally have a teaser post for ya'll, I have a question though, perhapsfor someone experienced in the realm of glitches and physics mishaps ofthe game.
I've got a Middleweight robot (Excelsior Stretch)that... well it has 3 pistons stacked as one to give its weapon aninsane reach. It has two of these setups, actually. The robot worksfine in the Garage, but when it's put into a fight as a humancontrolled robot it just vanishes at the start of the fight and iscounted out. Any reason why? Or should I scrap the overly bizarreweaponry in favor or something else? Thanks.
Try a different connection.
Do you mean attaching the set of pistons elsewhere on the robot? The current way I have it set up is with a 90o Baseplate Anchor, one vertical 20cm Black Extender, then the first piston and two others with an Iron Spike on the end. It's setup like this so the pistons hang under the robot and the spikes are pointing out the front.

RFS, you should start a showcase.
I posted one a while ago in the Stock forum. I don't have anything new to add to it save for what I am putting together for this AI pack. The pictures I have left of all of my robots are ones that I've posted and reposted many times in the past, there's nothing new. =/ edit: It seems all of the pictures I posted in my gallery thread were hosted on GatorAIDS and have been deleted. I'll re-upload them later or something. The kinds of stuff I put together are largely unappreciated these days anyways, I have no desire to post a showcase because I know in doing so SOMEONE is eventually going to come around and red-line my designs, which I do not appreciate.

I can't see the 'gentlemen's entertainment' folder that RFS was talking about.
"E: pr0n" right underneath "WHILE YOU CRASH".

wat?
Agreed. Leave it to Sparkey to spam an un-spamable thread.....
I'm pretty sure he made an Xzibit meme image, "Yo dawg we heard you like (NOUN) so we put a (NOUN) in your (NOUN) so you can (VERB) while you (VERB)."

Also just for the sake of posting it, here's a truck carrying a load of "NO" for you. Picture I found online that I think would make a great macro.

A crawler works by flattening opponents under their weapons.
Yours works in a similer way.
Ah, in that case the drum doesn't spin in the direction you think it does, it spins upwards "in reverse" instead of crushing opponents like a conventional steamroller would.

Steamroller works like a crawler then?
Could be better if it had a wedge... The force of the motors pushing the wedge down, shredding opponents....
Steamroller has wheels, two of them are inside the bot and the other two are guarded by a Ram Plate.

I have a Lego Racers game for the Nintendo 64 - is this the same game? I haven't played in a LONG time but I remember being able to build your own car was hecka fun.

What class is that? Health 101?
It's actually a Biology Lab safety quiz.

(On AceUplink)
Radio F Software --> RFS, |2 |= $, El Dragon Morado, CyberdyneSystems*, Cacodemon, JazzyJeff, Alligator Dude, MastaChi... the list carries on. Those are all of the ones that I made a substantial amount of posts with. Not *quite* proud of all of that either, but it's funny in retrospect.
*Hacker X reverse engineered the AU BB AI Pack's hidden components, I leaked screenies on AU as that parachute account.

I made this demotivator, I'm posting it here so I don't lose it (I'm at school right now and don't have a way to save it to a flash drive since I left them at home).

I sent you 5 robots, there's no forseeable way for me to name 25 robots from way back when. I can't remember them all. I ended up submitting the only AU tourney winner I could remember and EMERGENCY among the others.

Wasnt there a Crap Bot 4000 in one of the v1.0 teams?
There was a "Crap Bot 4K" in one of the RFS AI packs. I borrowed the name but not the design because at the time I didn't have any plans to actually use the terrible CrapBot design in the pack, but of course... I didn't really see that far into the future for me to include it later. Another one of the AI teams (Pressure I think) is running around with a very bizarre version of Thumperizer that has a srimech and some crazy spinning discs that don't really work very well.

Here's two Heavyweights from the pack. Neither one has a skin yet, pardon the diamond plated steel. Steamroller - Second Chance team Steamroller missed the boat in the previous installments of the AI pack. It's making its Robot Arena 2 debut in the V1.7 pack sporting a giant armored drum to make up for lost time and make inverted pancakes out of all who oppose. +: Heavy weaponry can deal out punishment for extended periods before failure. -: Weaponry lacks the ability to score "big" hits for points. The Fursecutioner - Team Blast Works When The Fursecutioner isn't busy shredding the occasional opponent who crosses it, it's busy doing what it does best - trolling furries. The Fursecutioner's weaponry is capable of blasting apart even the toughest heavyweights while its roll cage makes for a smooth ride. +: Small, compact, hi-speed weaponry makes for a fast spin up time and less recoil when dealing blows. -: Exposed motors and roll cage make the robot prone to falling apart in extended fights.
