Finallly recorded all of Robot Wars Returns Series 2. One Heat Goes for 44 Minutes!. The Semi and Grand Finals go for 31 Minutes. Heat H and the Finals might be uploaded Tonight or tomorrow.

I understand that; but I can't quite use Titanium 5 or Plastic 10 because they are both too heavy to keep the robot as a lightweight. I'm thinking about maybe lessening the armor and adding some bottom protection. Would this be a good idea?
Yea. Try and use Plastic 5 or 3 for Armour and use Halfsheets for bottom Armour

After several months away from building, I come back with a generic SnS. In fact, it's so generic that its name is:

The insides:

The stats:
Weapons: 2x 30 kg Sledges on 2x 20x80 DSL Bars
Motors: 2x NPC Fasts
Wheels: 2x Hypnos
Armor: Steel 3
Everything else is self-explanatory at this point. Now, I fully realize that this is a boring design. This is more or less a semi-introduction to the new builders to how... meh I am. I hope to actually have a better made robot soon... if my Capstone doesn't get in my road first.
Steel is bad for Armour. Use Titanium if you can or Plastic.

So yea i had Backlash for one hour. So its time to make a showcase dammit!! Here is my first Backlash bot. S.I.T.A (Stab In the Back)  Pretty good in combat, beats the SNS easily.

We need insides. What is the motor and drive how many ants etc etc. Also dont ever use a circle chassis because it is wasted weight and it needs more weapons. What armour is it?

Change the sheets to poly or alu and maybe upgrade drive. Also do what Scorpion said.

Well i've now got 8 BB and 4 LDS teeth and alu wedge and it weighs 246.
Where to get more weight...
What Armour? try and make it invertable if it isn`t.
