I am trying to make some new friends mainly for my last year of school in 4 years. I want to be able to talk to people but I don`t want to embarrass the person im talking to. Im thinking of Facebook to start of with but what if the person gets pissed of at me?

if you're in school, sit by them.

ask them a question or something, if they're in your class, ask them what lesson you have next, or what the homework was.

if they talk to you, then ask them what stuff they like.

Not a bad choice.  That is a pretty simple card that is compatible with your old monitor and does not need a special power supply.  That card gets all its power directly from the motherboard itself.

I think that is a great card to start off with because you are just starting to learn how to do all this stuff.
