OK, so now my sis has klones (well kinda) of her bot as well? *sighs*
Building must run in your family. You should be pleased for her. =) Any more of this, and I may have to rep you down, which I don't particularly want to do. I reckon you could use 20cm CF extenders to hold the motors on, which would allow you to improve the armour further.

Who's ready for the Hurricane? That's what I ask my fiance every night. I usually get denied...
Heh.
Oh hey, it's actually morning. Good morning, GTM.
It's 7pm where I am. DAMN YOU TIME ZONES.

Have you called the control "Spin"?

It's a reference to it looking similar to Guitars' entry in CCIV, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. And the S-shaped Magmotors have far superior HP (4,000, IIRC), and they are often used as drive motors. Such as on R0B0's CCIV entry.

Try while placing and see if that works. If you use Pause while adjusting them, they just don't move. Try pausing and going into the test lab and back, see if they're level then.

Why not have the SnapperII's both vertical with the axles facing outwards? You can have them both sticking out of the sides of the chassis to give a wider stance and less likelihood of being flanked. I can't imagine it'd effect how wedgy it is at all.
Problem is, I've tried that and somehow the wedges weren't exactly the same.
P.S.: It are Snapper2's.
Force of habit. =P In what way are they not exactly the same? Do you mean one is slightly higher than the other? I'd have thought using the pause button would have solved that.

Looks excellent. =D I might have tried for Ripping Teeth instead of Iron Spikes, but oh well. Very much liking the Flipper Segment/Angle connector work as well.

ohai guitars. If you want stronger motors, try the more S-shaped Magmotors, and mount them on the outside AP of the Flipper Segment. This gives you a wider stance and improved stability, but I'd try and get Poly or - if you can - CF extenders holding the motors on instead of another flipper segment. That'd allow you to improve the armour.

There is always a bit of a debate about splashes. There was an idea about having a standardised splash that everyone has to use, but a lot of members shot it down. Personally, I don't judge a robot on a splash alone, but I'd rather have a well-built bot with a good splash on the front page than a well-built bot with a bad one. My vote went to #1, incidentally, which I am fairly certain is Scrap...though there is something in the back of my mind saying Conraaa for some reason...

Utterly insane. I don't like the extenders being exposed, though, I'm not too sure how much the weapons would defend them. It's like Parabolic Trajectory 2 on steroids.

Does anyone else here have the Elric of Melniboné series? I'm on the third out of seven at the minute, and it's pretty damn good. =D

First one's not as much of a DBP3 clone as you'd think. DBP3 didn't have a caster, wasn't invertible, but had a burst enhanced HPZ instead. And the chassis was a bit less square-y. =)

Exostacking casters isn't difficult. You can see Caster Armoured Popups quite often. But not too bad. I'd try to get DSA on either of them, though. Are they invertible?

027, Jonzu, stop fighting. Both of you. Jonzu, this has nothing to do with you, and 027, you shouldn't have lost it like you did. What is CS: GO? I can only imagine it's another gun-ridden warmongering waste of 50 quid.

Ok, who gave me -3 reputation?

Your ranting against anime in the SYD thread didn't help your case. Toad in the Hole is brilliant. =D

Also, I tried the other motors but they wouldn't fit. They overlapped and I don't have enough weight to move the extenders out slightly.
You could mount the regular TWMR Magmotors (The kinda S-shaped ones) on the side attachment point of the extender, using the end attachment point of the motor. This'll give you a wider stance, meaning more stability, and an increased turning speed. Even with Shiny Hubs, I reckon it could work.
